Overall Satisfaction with OneCause

OneCause has been a vital resource in elevating our event and fundraising experiences. We use their event planner platform to organize and execute a variety of events within our chapter - making it turnkey for event attendees and those joining online to support our efforts in a variety of ways. We've hosted ticket sales, raffles, silent and live auctions, and direct appeals on the site as well as utilized the planner portion for seating charts and donor engagement leading up to and beyond the event. Our development, finance, and marketing teams all utilize portions of the platform - that's an amazing asset to have everyone using the same platform! It helps us be consistent and knowledgeable equally - it encourages team support when often work can get siloed.
  • OneCause keeps you organized and on top of details big and small. The checklist feature is hugely helpful and having an individual working on your event with you to point out things you may have missed or not realized you needed is a huge benefit.
  • The accounting post-event is sorted in a variety of ways making it easy to find [the] info you're looking for like breaking down specific donor traits.
  • Including ways to market and communicate for the event is vital for success. You can preschedule and customize messages to specific groups right in the platform so it's tracked and event-specific. I love the functionality and ease that provides!
  • I love having customizable options but sometimes I struggle finding out HOW to do each step. Having training available is a big help but it can be hard to find specific needs at times.
  • Once we joined OneCause for our event fundraising platform we never looked back. Each year we've experienced growth with not only the funds raised but also in the improvement of the event execution.
  • We've learned a tremendous amount for in-person fundraising success through the OneCause team and that has led us to explore virtual and campaign options.

The functionality of the platform and the continued updates and improvements by the OneCause development team make it feel rather intuitive. The program guides you step-by-stop and is designed in a way that should you forget something or the ever-present "you don't know what you don't know" situation arises, there are reminders that help ensure you're successful.
The OneCause team does a terrific job of being there for you from the moment you sign on and beyond. I have found the online chat feature especially useful in the early stages of event planning or if you find yourself in a position with a new employee who is learning the ropes. Having your event consultant working with you early on really provides an extra set of eyes or backup brain type of support. I also really appreciate the involvement and interaction from OneCause throughout the year not just focused during your specific event window. They provide helpful tips that go beyond the day of [an] event.

I love OneCause for in-person events! The support in advance helps you feel in control and confident going into an event but more importantly, the service helps you be professional and together the night of. New guests always comment how great it is and how easy it makes events - no more huddling around a bidding paper or going back and forth to check during the night. And making things easier ALWAYS makes things better. We saw a big jump in money raised and activity when we switched to this service years ago and we won't ever go back. Having the OneCause team in your corner makes your organization look first-class and that resonates with guests and donors.
