Paylocity - great HRIS system that is all encompassing.
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity to help us with almost every facet of a day to day operation. Our employees, including myself, use the mobile appt to log their punches, submit PTO, access the community board and view their paystub. We also use Paylocity to run payroll, help with our taxes and much more.
Pros
- Payroll
- Tax Reporting
- Time off Requests
- Community Section

Cons
- Recruiting
- I-9
- Ease of submitting expense reports
- Reduction in errors in payroll
- Reduction in errors in hours/wage calculations
- reduced payroll costs
- Better report building/data insights.
We love the report feature in Paylocity and it makes extracting and gathering data very simple. We can run reports for just about anything, and if there isn't a report we need I know that I can call Paylocity and a customer service rep will help us to create or find the data we are requesting.
I think the community page makes an impact with our employees. They are always leaving eachother kind words and recognition, which goes a long way to make someone's day. We also send out exit interviews which are a great way to gather feedback from departing employes. I think the mobile punch feature is easy to use as well.
Paylocity was the best "bang for our buck" in terms of what the system offered versus what the cost was of implementation and continuous use. We love the mobile features, and Paylocity is great for a company of our size (currently just under 100 employees). We also chose Paylocity for the reporting tools, data insights and the payroll capabilities.
