Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We are currently using Procore across all departments, pre-construction, operations and service. It has assisted us tremendously in getting project information disseminated quickly and accurately to our field crews as well as our vendors and suppliers. The drawing and specification tools are exemplary. I would strongly recommend this platform to anyone looking into construction collaboration software.
- Drawings - being able to upload, markup and access the current drawing set could not be easier.
- Specifications - similar to drawings, the formatting is very intuitive.
- Directory - it is simple to add vendors and suppliers to a project and be able to efficiently disseminate large amounts of information.
- Documents - particularly from the mobile platforms, uploading PDF or other standard form documents is difficult.
- Offline updating - if not connected, as on a job-site, the markups can occasionally get stuck in limbo and not update when re-connected without some encouragement.
- Overall we have increased our ability to get information to the field crews quickly and accurately. This is difficult to quantify but the levels of frustration are lower specific to communication issues.
All of these systems function very similarly and have many of the same characteristics. I have found Procore to have the best UI and easiest/most efficient interaction of any that I have used.
