Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Procore on all of our projects of all sizes and delivery methods. What varies is the level of involvement from the Architect and that varies more by Architect than by type of project. Procore helps us solve document control, submittal and RFI workflows, drawing and specification management, quality control, and field communication.

Systems Integrated With

We have used Multivista to view the job site camera. This has not been very helpful because only the current camera view is available. We haven't used any other ERPs at this time.

Daily Logs

Procore is much faster for daily log entry than our previous software. It has made it possible for multiple superintendents to make entries easily instead of bogging down the main superintendent each day.

Alternatives Considered

Vista by Viewpoint

The user interface of Procore is 1000% better than Vista's. This makes a huge impact.

Likelihood to Recommend

Procore is well suited for jobs of any size. The key is the [number] of people willing (or forced) to participate. If all subcontractors, the architect, and the engineers are using Procore, it is a very valuable tool. It is still useful if one or more parties are not involved, but it puts more of [a] burden on the general contractor to fill in the gaps and perform double entry. The most common hold-up is the architect if they have their own document control platform.
