Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
Splashtop Enterprise is used for remote support of Clients, assisting with the troubleshooting and resolution of issues. Our support model spans Windows, macOS, and iOS/iPad platforms. It greatly assists with supporting Client devices, as a Client's description of what is being displayed or of a particular error/informational message may not be 100% accurate.
Pros
- Easy for an end-client to download and run.
- Performs well, even on slower-network connections.
- No installation is required, simply an executable that is not invasive to the Operation System.
Cons
- iOS and iPadOS only allows screen viewing, not control.
- Allows for remote support of Clients when I was not physically available in my office. I can use the product from my Cellular-enabled iPad.
Splashtop is a secure solution; my Clients like that I cannot access their devices without their local interaction and provide the 9-digit passcode in real-time.
I was able to use Splashtop Enterprise immediately after creating my account and downloading/installing the software. It is so self-explanatory that there was very little to no learning curve.
Yes - I replaced Citrix TeamViewer with Splashtop Enterprise, mainly for cost savings. I am extremely pleased with my decision.
