Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
The experience of using Team Viewer was while controlling on site devices by our maintenance team, the main issue was that of latency in connectivity. The browser version particularly feels difficult to use regularly. The experience on it is not as good as the desktop version. There are scenarios where browser is our go to choice but it makes the task difficult.
Pros
- Recording remote sessions.
- Sharing a single application window or the entire desktop with another user both are possible.
- File transfer options such as integration with Drive and Dropbox.
- Updating a remote installation is also very easy.
Cons
- The file transfer could use better integration with more third party cloud service providers.
- The browser version should be redesigned with ease of use in mind.
- Being able to run on lower bandwidth as an option should be available.
- The software has reduced the time taken to respond to incidents happening in the client side.
- It has helped in reducing costs related to manpower as frequency of sending employees for support purposes has reduced.
- It has improved customer satisfaction towards the approach in replying to urgent issues.
The TeamViewer software is very ubiquitous and versatile as it runs on all major operating systems and this helps it in eliminating the need for finding different solutions on various platforms. As such, it is very well equipped to fight competitors and stacks up against them as a strong and reliable option for the clients.
