Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro
UKG Pro is used across the entire organization with several modules in place. HR uses the system for employee information and access levels, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and time management.
This addressed the business problem of our systems not "talking" to one another previously. UKG Pro has all modules integrated into the core system, so we can easily share data between modules and get what we need out of the system for data analysis.

Pros
- UKG Pro customer support is great! They have specialists within customer support for each type of problem, so you can always find the best solution possible.
- UKG Pro integrated its modules into core very well. This makes it easy to take a candidate through onboarding to become an employee in the core system.
- UKG Pro's recruitment module provides a great user experience for the talent acquisition team, as well as for our candidates.
Cons
- UKG Pro could improve upon their time management area. We currently still use UTM because it was the only way for us to have a bi-weekly PTO accrual for employees, rather than a lump sum added into their accounts at the beginning of the year.
- UKG Pro could improve upon their learning module. This module is not intuitive for the administrator to set up or for the user to go through the courses. The main issue we have found is with the pop up windows and not being able to exit out of them and keep the completion rating for the course.
- UKG Pro has had a positive impact on the HR team because we are now able to manage all of our activities in one system.
- UKG Pro has had a positive impact on saving time for employees. We have seen significant improvements in the time it takes for employees and leaders to complete performance reviews and then for the HR team to process any promotions or pay raises in the system.
- We have not seen great employee engagement with the system. Many employees do not think it is intuitive and require a lot of assistance for things such as submitting a PTO request, checking timesheets, and adding performance goals into the system.
When switching to a new HRIS, the HR team evaluated a few options - UKG Pro, Sage, and ADP. We decided to go with UKG Pro because of the integration capabilities between modules, and because of the excellent customer service.

UKG provided excellent support when we had an issue with PTO balances not showing in employee accounts. The customer support team worked with us through a few troubleshooting exercises to try to determine the root cause of the problem. In order to ensure the issue was resolved quickly for our employees, the UKG team went into the system and did an import reset of PTO for all users.
