Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard

Our marketing team utilizes Vidyard to host some of our videos on landing pages within HubSpot. We were looking for a resource that would allow us to easily host and play videos on our landing pages without using YouTube or fighting with any lightbox effects on HubSpot. It may be a small thing to keep users from leaving our site to go to YouTube, but the more time they spend away from distractions, the more interactions we'll have with a potential prospect or even a current client.
  • Basic ease of use
  • Integrates with MAP
  • Clean interface
  • Technical skill is required for deeper use of some tools
  • Interface is plain
  • It can be tricky to know when to select "player" and when to select "video" when working directly in Vidyard
  • Increase customer interaction with videos.
  • Additional tools help the team think outside box for normal video use.
  • Easier to create and update video landing pages, saving time to focus on other projects.
You can't find an easier integration between HubSpot and Vidyard right now. With it already being built-in, you can just upload videos directly to Vidyard through HubSpot, meaning for most videos you don't even need to leave the MAP; the only time you'll need to is for deeper edits or analytics.
I had an initial question regarding how to ensure buttons remained on a video after a video had finished playing. The customer chat support was very quick to begin researching my question; they initially gave me a temporary solution but didn't stop there. Imagine my surprise when I received a ticket update from the customer service rep that they had reached out directly to their programmers to enquire how difficult and what would be required to add the function I had requested.
If you're creating quick, short videos for landing pages or automated marketing emails, this platform is perfect. If you're hoping to capture additional leads, Vidyard has some significant tools that can help you with it; it even has the ability to create buttons within the video itself during play. You still should post most of your videos to YouTube, for obvious touchpoint reasons, but Vidyard provides a great tool to think outside of the box.
