Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard

We use Vidyard currently in our sales department. I like using this platform as a way to connect with people that I haven't started working with yet. It works great when I am following up after meeting with someone at a trade show or if I have been talking with someone and I want them to know I am a real person.
  • I have no skills with editing and Vidyard makes it really easy to do a quick and simple recording. If I need to shorten the clip it is very easy to do.
  • This was the first platform of this kind I used so I was a little intimidated with it. I feel like Vidyard did a great job of providing resources for me to read/watch that helped me build my confidence.
  • My default for my website is Google. Vidyard for some reason does not like the Google homepage.
  • Unfortunately, I haven't seen an ROI yet. But I don't use this consistently enough maybe to see the results.
  • When I do use Vidyard I feel like our company is keeping up with the new wave of communication through marketing and sales.
I use it on my phone to record, then go to my desktop so that I can send it through HubSpot. I don't know if there is an easy way to do it on my phone and I am just missing that step, but it is a pain at times to use the cell to make the video, wait till it uploads completely so it is on the computer and then integrate it with HubSpot.
I haven't actually contacted Vidyard for support. When I have had questions on it I have reached out to my one business consulting firm I work with to ask my questions to. They are the ones that actually recommend that I start using Vidyard. They know the ins and outs much better then I do because they use it for a lot of different things.
I think this is a great platform to connect with the younger generation. I personally like "seeing" people I work with so I would love if some of my clients would use this service to communicate.
I feel like the less tech-savvy folks are not interested in watching a little video. Heck, most of the time they try to avoid their emails.
