Zoho Assist from Zoho Corporation is a remote administration tool for SMBs and outsourced IT.
LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo was by far the most comprehensive we tested, though we also found it to be a fair amount more expensive. We deemed the extra expense acceptable for the extra features and usability. Being able to service clients so quickly and so easily, it makes the …
All of them provide the same sort of solutions. However, their customer service and the complexity of the features vary, and it was down to which one we found to be the easiest to set up and for our users to use without much support during the trial period. The price was also a …
LogMeIn Rescue stacks up against other alternatives for its wider range of hardware support, cloud storage, file sharing, and team collaboration. We selected LogMeIn Rescue for its enterprise-level security features.
Customer Service was our number one deciding factor. LogMeIn support teams are top-notch. We never had issues getting product updates, technical support, additional license purchases, and any product-related queries. The ability to run macro & micro level reporting is another …
Zoho Assist is excellent. I've used Team Viewer extensively and will never use it again. It is a massive waste of money compared to Zoho Assist. I have not had subscriptions as a user to LogMeIn, JoinMe, or GoToAssist, however, I have used them while being assisted by …
LogMeIn is well suited when it's required to remote into two or more devices at the same time. Its effectiveness is amazing for that type of multitasking as long as I have sufficient bandwidth. And I don't personally consider any type of scenario not or less appropriate for using it. Its benefits are very good.
Works well for remote users to connect to their onsite computers. The mobile app works great for technicians. I can't really think of anywhere it isn't appropriate because these days everyone works remotely at some point and even if they have no need to connect to an onsite device when they need assistance the tech can connect quickly and easily.
Zoho Assist service will stop workstations automatically sleeping (unless overridden) - this was done deliberately by their development team as they aware (and unable to fix) their issues with WOL.
Support is terrible - very quick response initially - but it can take weeks to get any actual support or solution. I currently have outstanding tickets over 2 months old with no response.
File transfer clunky, slow and inconsistent.
Clients often show offline when actually available and online.
We may continue using Logmein as it is the best remote support application in terms of connection latency and control. However, since several of our client sites have stricter security policies they block this application and we have to switch to other ways which is inconvenient
For user i think it needs improvement as every remote session I need to download the app, find it, open it, and allow access. For Agent it is well suited to provide support and preform any task required on the user workstation
Very easy to use. Tech support is available, but not needed. Our customers are able to download and run the file quickly, an audible tone alerts users as to when the assisted person joins the session. It is functional, aesthetically pleasing, and contains all the capability anyone needs for remote support.
I'd say support for LogMeIn is ideal because I haven't ever been in a situation where additional support was necessary. The program runs so efficiently and simply that nothing was needed beyond initial training that was provided by my company. I am saying this as a user that strictly uses the technician console
As I said earlier, Zoho Assist is a perfect remote access software and very well meets our needs to solve installation, uninstallation and general configuration issues. The interface is beautiful, clean, user-friendly and works very well on Windows 10. All the support and infrastructure staff approve and enjoy using it
LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo is by far superior feature wise when it comes to other solutions we've trialed. The cost of rescue is the only part that makes you have to stop and think before procurement, we had to significantly justify our reasons for this product over some of the others due to the higher license cost. But worth every moment and penny.
Cost is one thing that makes Zoho Assist beat the competing software. The security plans from the software ensure files and anything sensitive are well maintained and governed. The interface, the simplicity, and the friendliness of Zoho Assist attracts attention of prospective clients. Zoho Assist successfully make the desktop remote access process effective and at a reduced cost.
It helps us to increase our remote resolution from offshore personnel, so you can redeploy the activity of a local resource at your facility to specifically address more of the hardware or physical IT problems.
Increase FCR "First Call Resolution" if you have this within your SLA
Improve end user experience, Non IT personnel doesn't have to struggle explaining an issue, it makes it very easy once you get on the affected user computer.
It's the most cost-effective service I've found with device control features, saving money.
It's reliable whenever we need it.
Without Zoho Assist we would probably not use a screen control program and would waste time trying to find a similar function from a combo of other programs rather than one.
