ADP Workforce Now Review
Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
Ohio Living is using ADP Workforce Now across the entire organization. We are using it for timekeeping, time-off requests and scheduling, employee profile management, and more I am sure that has yet to be rolled out by our HR department. The switch to ADP Workforce Now has only been fairly recent at Ohio Living within the last 6 months.
Pros
- The request off feature is particularly useful.
- Time card reconciliation by the employees is great to increase individual responsibility for their own pay and time.
Cons
- Initial usability is difficult. Learning to use the different functions was not very intuitive.
- There could be some additional guides or pop-up info to help on each page or to describe each function.
- I appreciate how it has instilled more of a personal responsibility in the frontline staff for their own hours, pay, and accumulations.
- This heavy reliance on mobile phone app use, while very much a need for the modern workforce, leaves some older employees feeling out of control of their own job. I have several employees who lack the tech understanding and need to be shown every week how to approve their hours using a computer.
I don't know the answer to this question as the decision was made above the facility director level at our corporate office in Columbus.
- HotSchedules, Toast Payroll & Team Management and formerly stratex
ADP Workforce Now is better in almost every possible way that I can see. Although a couple of the others may seem a bit more intuitive at first, their comparative lack of functionality explains it. I hated working with HotSchedules--it was truly terrible for our purposes. At least ADP Workforce Now can be adapted as needs arise.
