Overall Satisfaction with Basecamp

We use Basecamp for our team projects. It's used by our marketing team and sales team. It allows us to better manage our time and get tasks done in a timely manner.
  • Accountability for tasks: it's clear who is responsible for what.
  • Team communications: we use Basecamp to communicate so we don't waste time scheduling extra meetings.
  • We would love to see more integrations -- we use HubSpot for our marketing activities.
  • We had good turnout by using Basecamp, as it helps us finish our tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • We have better team collaboration.
I think it's good for small businesses, but not an enterprise-level business. I like how simple and easy it is to get started, and there's a free trial you can take advantage of if you want to give it a try and see if it suits your business model.
They have pretty good support. I went to their site, and contact them with no problems.
Like I said, when I worked for a small company, it worked great, but now we are using HubSpot where it has its own project management tool for us to use, so it's just easier to have one platform for everything we do.
I like how easy it is to use Basecamp, but we decided to switch to HubSpot completely because they have their own project management system now. I would say if you are a small company with small teams, Basecamp can be your go-to solution, but once you grow bigger and need more integrations/features, you might want to find something more advanced.
