Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

It is used by everyone with a sales compensation plan to track commissions on a monthly basis. This helps in transparency and helps minimise disputes in commission calculations.Time spent every month doing calculations is reduced significantly and accuracy is increased. Reports can be sent to employees promptly every month.
  • Allows me to spend my time prospecting and working on opportunities, knowing that all commissions are handled accurately and transparently.
  • Ability to view my monthly commission report status and a summary report is also available
  • Being able to custom build the statements. Easy to use for sales teams with little or no training
  • One needs to be able to know how to create formulas (i.e. be proficient in it) albeit these are not too different from Excel
  • View monthly trends in a chart or graph form
  • Commission IQ has done a good job anticipating the needs of its customers and there's not much to gripe about
  • Ease of Use
  • Transparency in calculation of commissions
  • Granularity of each commissionable sale in addition to a summary report
  • Motivate sales personnel to drive sales because reports are generated monthly on their sales commissions
  • Track individual performance - shows you the commission amount for each month in an easy to view format
  • Really nothing negative to say about CaptivateIQ - it's there in a 'corner' like a fly on the wall and does its job really well

I like that Captivate IQ shows the breakdown in an easy to read format. I can quickly see the sales opportunities I closed & how my commission is calculated. When I spot any discrepancies, I can communicate them all within the application. No longer do I have to liaise with my manager / finance via email to get this sorted.
Very appropriate to use this monthly and the ability to view commission reports with this level of granularity. This adds to the full transparency of the sales generated and the associated commissions.
Perhaps if you only need to calculate comms once a year, you might not need / want to invest in CaptivateIQ?
