Overall Satisfaction with CaptivateIQ

CaptivateIQ is used to calculate, track & communicate commissions in our organization. It is a seamless tool for our finance team from an administration perspective, and also the quota-carrying teams like the interface and the way it shows them where they stand. It has been a great transition from the previous system that we used.
  • Flexibility in the tool to make exceptions from the plan.
  • Simple interface and reporting.
  • Seamless integration with Salesforce.
  • The support model could be improved.
  • The implementation process had some kinks.
  • Cost savings from transitioning the previous tool to CaptivateIQ.
  • Satisfaction improvement of the sales teams.

I transitioned from Xactly Connect...no other tools compared. Captivate is significantly better than Xactly.

Well suited for - 1. Salesforce integration 2. Situations where flexibility is needed to move away from the commission plan in certain cases 3. Reporting of commission data and the ability for sales teams to self-serve information Less suited for - 1. Hand-holding is needed to update annual commission plans in the system.
