Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

As a startup, we are using ClickUp across our internal departments, from HR to Sales to Production. It is helping us across our organization by providing a single place to track and manage all of the things that need to get done. The most valuable problem ClickUp addresses for us is keeping us organized and informed so nothing falls through the cracks.

Pros

  • Helping us maintain deadlines through calendars and visual notifications of due dates.
  • Helping me plan my day, through the home dashboard.
  • Helping us organize ourselves across common initiatives.
  • Helping us maintain process, through statuses.

Cons

  • Setting up roadmaps and integrating them across spaces (similar to "Goals", but more agile).
  • Better support for Agile development, where stories can be linked to epics for tracking and reporting on the progress of Epics.
  • Streamlined production workflow.
  • Rained in our marketing efforts.
  • Prioritized our goals across the organization.
The greatest contribution to collaboration ClickUp has had is in our Production department. Since adopting ClickUp, we have been able to manage multiple projects for multiple clients across multiple divisions of our organization. ClickUp has given us a single point of truth and reference for all of the projects that require cross-departmental collaboration to support our customers.
ClickUp has allowed us to enforce repeatable workflow processes for the creation, review, and delivery of our internal and external projects. By applying a universal workflow process, we no longer speak different languages when it comes to the status of our work initiatives.
It's clear that ClickUp is taking the best of all the production management products that are out there and blending them into one single effective product. Having used a number of them, I am pretty impressed with how ClickUp has provided so much valuable functionality without becoming overwhelmingly complicated.

ClickUp has been great for managing and maintaining project tasks and deadlines. Lists provide an easy way to capture and prioritize tasks as they come in. No project ever goes as planned. ClickUp's flexible drag-and-drop interface makes reorganizing tasks a breeze. The biggest challenge we've had leveraging ClickUp has been with sales. We haven't been able to use it effectively for managing our sales pipelines.
