ConnectWise Control Review
Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
The IT department uses this platform every day to support local and remote users on both Windows and Mac computers (and servers).
Pros
- Fast connection, stable and feature-rich tools.
- Reboot and connect automatically, even in safe mode.
- Blackout remote screen and block input during the session.
- Dual screen support but can zoom to either for clarity.
- Access remote hosts without user interaction.
- Push command line entries without user interaction.
Cons
- Not much missing! Maybe real-time zoom into the remote screens?
- Definitely helped speed up reaction time to support users.
- Very affordable solution; the ROI is excellent.
WebEx: clunky and client-heavy with download and responsiveness.
GoToAssist: good platform but not as affordable, and not as fast.
Logmein: used this previously but not as fast/thin as ScreenConnect.
GoToMyPC: equally good but not as affordable for multiple clients; some features are missing.
