Overall Satisfaction with Heap

Heap is being used both by the Customer Success team and the product team. Heap allows us to measure metrics across the board and provides insights into platform usage. As a result, it opens a dialogue between our users and our teams to further explore better ways to improve the platform, so they are more engaged with our application.
  • Captures insights well in regards to the way users are interacting with third-party applications.
  • Allows the integration of your application, so you are able to measure the number of times a certain user has completed certain action items.
  • The "live" feature is very useful and helpful.
  • Would really like to see a guide to navigate main features in the left sidebar.
  • If you get an error while trying to create a graph, there should be an explanation as to why you got that error and the graph is not being created. A suggestion box might help, where it outlines that "you might have missed XYZ."
  • Live chat bot or human could be useful when I can't figure something out on the spot.
  • Heap has helped identifying problem areas within our client accounts.
  • It has allowed us to also create reports and show executives how [our] platform is being used. These numbers have helped us get a sense of where we [are] with these clients, which are mostly in a positive position.
  • The analytics aspect has provided us with better insight, thus being able to cater more towards what is being used more in our platform. This has made customers more satisfied, thus increasing the likelihood of continuing to do business with us.
We are actually using both Heap and Hotjar conjunctly. The only reason I use Heap more than Hotjar is because I don't want to have to learn a new application.

Do you think Heap delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Heap's feature set?

Yes

Did Heap live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Heap go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Heap again?

Yes

Heap is helpful for companies that are trying to measure their KPIs. It allows for dynamic and robust ways to interact with your own software to measure movements and actions within your application. This is a huge benefit for someone like me because I need to monitor the usage of our platform by our users. With this data or information, I am able to assess whether I should bring it up to them and question their lack of usage and so on.
