Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite
We started using the Hootsuite free version for social posting and basic scheduling. Over time they evolved as a platform and added new features like social listening, analytics, benchmarking, etc. We then upgraded our account to use all these new features to offer a suite of social products to our clients including community management.
- Templates - Creative templates available are very good.
- User experience is really easy to navigate.
- Product road map and upgrades are good.
- I feel the pricing can be better matched in terms of added services and add ons of the product.
- The support provided can be better.
- I feel the platform can customize solutions by industry and verticals.
- The ability to customize and share access to the dashboards/ workspaces has allowed us to sell the product in our scope and get some better-than-expected ROI.
- The training modules are great for onboarding. This saved us a lot of costs upfront.
- We had to substitute some of the missing features like hashtag mining, etc. with other tools in the marketplace. This had a negative impact on our ROI.
Hootsuite was a great entry-level tool v/s some of the other tools like Falcon and Netbase in terms of breadth of features and solutions across verticals. I feel Hootsuite does a great job for D2C brands v/s enterprise solutions that need a more robust set of features and deeper analytics.
