Overall Satisfaction with LogicMonitor

We are using LogicMonitor to monitor and alert on a wide range of devices across our organization. From Dell servers to Nokia routers, we have no issue with setting each device up to be monitored. LogicMonitor monitors these devices and alerts on a wide array of issues. It can also be setup to monitor before there is an issue. This allows us to not only be reactive but proactive as well.
  • Intuitive
  • Cloud-based
  • Scope
  • Importing mib files
  • Alert tuning
  • Reduced the man power to find issues
  • Allows easier viewing of alerts
  • Reports on alerts via several different routes
LogicMonitor is much more defined in alerting and monitoring. It is also cloud-based which we prefer for this type of software.
Haven't had to deal with support yet but their sales team has been great at checking in on our platform and ensuring that we have what we need to use LogicMonitor to its fullest.
All of our infrastructure is on-prem currently, with the exception of our website which we monitor via LogicMonitor. We have about 100 devices that will be monitored once we have them all deployed. These range from Dell servers to Nokia routers to Fortinet devices. Our locations are all located within the metro Atlanta area.
It was incredibly easy and intuitive. Working with their Sales engineers we were able to get it setup and monitoring devices in about 2 hours.
This was a new venture so we began right off the bat with LogicMonitor.
LogicMonitor is well suited for alerting on devices based of snmp data points. It currently is less suited for monitoring and reading syslogs, but they are working to rollout a new feature that would improve this. It is also useful for keeping config backups of many devices, via importing them through ssh.
