Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for a number of discussions such as planning, brainstorming, solving problems, and system analysis. Currently, my team consisting of about 7 people is using Miro as a small start. If our work goes well using Miro, I will propose to use Miro in the Enterprise plan so that people across a plural organization can use Miro.
  • Planning.
  • Brain storming.
  • Solving problems.
  • System analysis.
  • Characters written in Japanese are likely too small when I write something in one line.
  • Create a good idea effectively with a team or even a person.
  • Easy to make a good visualization material.
  • Some frameworks help the members to[ discuss] about a complicated problem.
Basically, Miro works well but when I write something in Japanese on a sticky note, the characters become too small. Second, when I make a large number of objects like sticky notes, images, or text, the speed of Miro slows down. I hope the Miro team will improve the speed.
As long as I know, Miro is not easy to be integrated into other working tools. In some cases, I would like to search for a word on a board without opening the board. I hope I could find a word by a web browser, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, or Outlook.
Miro works better than sharing a screen with someone. Before using Miro, someone such as a leader wrote the text in a text editor and shared the screen. When a member says something, the leader writes it. Comparing Miro with this old-style meeting, the team members now can discuss speedily and effectively.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro works well when the members of my team discuss a certain theme like brainstorming, using stick notes. Everyone can make sticky notes as soon as everyone gets an idea and immediately it is shared with everyone. In this situation, Miro works much better than a legacy whiteboard. I guess Miro cannot work fine when a goal is not fixed in the meeting or when there is not a good facilitator in the discussion.
