Overall Satisfaction with Miro

My department uses it for brainstorming sessions relating to internal & external company discussions around Products. We are able to collaborate much easier due to how simple the interface is to use. So far, I have been a part of 5-10 discussions that have used Miro as the platform for sharing ideas and concepts.
  • Simple interface.
  • Relatively quiet (noise-free) from a UI perspective.
  • Easy to introduce to new users.
  • Multiple people commenting/moving items at can be disruptive.
  • So many options (difficult for neurodivergent users).
  • More fun collaboration.
  • Less time searching for platforms to use.
  • Improved productivity.
I have only used the platform for about a year, and it seems to be pretty solid from what I have experienced so far!
I personally thought it was easy to start using, but have heard that it was a little more daunting for my neurodivergent coworkers.
My company has largely been working remotely since the pandemic. Miro has been an easy way to bring us all together to share ideas relating to newer projects as well as ongoing discussions of current processes. More static programs like Trello have been a little more cumbersome to provide access to, so Miro has been a refreshing change of pace.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Trello has a lot of good features but lacks a bit of interactivity between users. Miro brings fun and welcoming presence with its myriad of options to create, share, and organize thoughts in a cohesive manner. Due to several limitations, I would gladly have more discussions using Miro than Trello.
Miro is advantageous in providing an easy-to-learn space for many users to share thoughts and concepts relatively quickly. On the other hand, if the audience contains neurodivergent members, it might be a little too disruptive to share thoughts when many folks are generating items all at once. Overall, I would recommend the platform to facilitate typical discussions easily.
