Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro extensively for many of our team's Agile rituals from Retrospectives, project whiteboarding, and planning. I also use it for team meetings, brainstorming and fun icebreakers! Finally, I use it to replicate some of my paper templates I have to digitize them and enable team collaboration.
- Collaboration
- Intuitive interface
- Look and feel is approachable for new users
- Sometimes the text tool is frustrating, where the font will not get large enough. Changing the width of a text box is also frustrating as it will change the font size
- Sharing boards when a member of multiple "projects" in Miro is confusing.
- I wish the left panel listing the projects and teams was more customizable. and put teams I am a member of at the top of the list!
- Improved participation in workshops and working sessions due to the easy-to-learn interface
- Helps provide consistent agile rituals across the teams
- Easy to share planning with leaders who struggle with spreadsheet updates
Miro is a key tool with our remote teams. We have always had some degree of remote workers at Cisco and in the post-lockdown world that is only increased. Having a shared Miro board is the closest thing available to a physical whiteboard with stickies.
