Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced
We use QuickBooks online Advanced to send estimates and invoices. It is also used to track sales, profits, shipping costs, and product availability. We accept payments via QBO, and we can see whether or not a customer has received and viewed their invoices when sending directly from QBO for payment.
- Sending invoices via email to customers.
- Reports showing a sales history by product or account.
- The ability to show accepted and closed estimates.
- QBO does not have the ability to show a report with only the open items on an estimate.
- QBO does not have the ability to show a customer's purchase history directly from their account page.
- QBO does not have the ability to save more than one shipping address on an account unless you make a parent account with the other addresses listed as accounts under that account.
- QBO has allowed us to see our past due accounts more easily.
- QBO shows inventory availability quickly.
- We can see when we are low on materials with the inventory management.
We set up QBO and began using it in a 1-2 month period. We made some tweaks to our processes along the way and changed the formatting on some of our forms as well. It was so simple. Compared to past software that we had used, QBO was so easy and user-friendly. The ability to search and ask questions is excellent. This has been a great experience.
We have had great success with this being cloud-based. Employees can work while on the road or from home. Everything they need is there in one place without having to log in from the office. It is convenient to be able to provide a quote or view a customer on the road. All you need is internet access.
QuickBooks Online Advanced has allowed us to set up 3 different departments in our company. We can set up the different product lines and different sales representatives in each department. The ability to customize reporting by departments has been helpful too.
In the past, we used Sage Intacct, and it was not user-friendly at all. The reporting abilities of QuickBooks Online Advanced are far superior to those of Sage Intacct. There are a few features from Sage Intacct that were convenient, like the ability to drill down on an item directly from the invoice.
