Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors

SAP SuccessFactors is the foundation for our HR operations. SF Employee Central is our Core HR system feeding over 150+ systems for HR and other functions around the world. It's our global platform for HR since 2013 with our first countries going live. We also leverage LMS for learning objectives and Talent modules for people development.

Pros

  • Pre-defined standards that can be use out of the box.
  • Allows critical customization if needed.
  • Great upgrade options with each release - mandatory vs opt-in/out.

Cons

  • Enhancements communications or deprecation of features.
  • Extensive testing for complex/big operations.
  • Better internal ways of working within operations, engineering & product.
  • Increase ease of use and make it friendlier.
  • Improved HC management and capbilities
  • Improved overall HR experience
  • Provided a base mechanism for automating tasks
It's quite easy to integrate now leveraging APIs, it took a while to get us there. It would be ideal and perfect if a standard way of leveraging integrations could be enforced so design guidelines are available. For all SAP products or vendors found in the app store, is super easy and secure.
SAP has provided the tools and flexibility to be compliant with multiple regulations around the world for all the countries in which my company operates. I can state that they have gone above and beyond for those critical cases, especially the ones in 2022, to help us keep compliance.
We have traditionally use SAP products and from a SAP perspective, cloud definitely is much more leverageable than on-premise.

It's a very reliable solution, their support model (while it has opportunities) is best in the market. SAP has a reputation for being best in class and SuccessFactors is not only best in class, it's also innovative and creates a way to integrate with other platforms big or small for improved performance. It has a holistic approach to human experience management.
