Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard

Our company currently uses Vidyard to host training videos for our learning management system. It has been a critical part of our day to day operations, especially with almost everyone currently working remotely. Anyone that needs access, has access. It has been a stable hosting platform that we have had little to no issues with.

  • More attractive UI
  • Better file management
  • More acceptable video formats
  • Easy to use, so there is little time training new people to access it.
  • Little down time for updates or server issues to affect our daily business.
  • Issues are quickly resolved with support when they pop up.
I don't want to comment too much on this and want to disclaim that Vidyard was being used before I started at the company. I will say that any time we have tried something to new within the company or on our LMS, we have had no issues. I would also add that, from my perspective. our needs are pretty basic.
Customer support is usually. very responsive and quick to resolve any issues. To be honest there are only a few times we have actually had to call in. I personally have only called once and my issue was resolved in a few minutes. The support person I spoke with was friendly and knowledgeable and didn't force me to go through a bunch of basic steps after I told them what I had tried.
I will again disclaim that Vidyard was used before I started with the company. But during my introduction to Vidyard, I did ask what other video hosting services they had looked at having had experience with Vimeo and Sprout Video. Vidyard was the one they chose. I have been here for 3 years now and there is no mention of switching.
Vidyard is great for hosting videos for any kind of online platform. It's definitely for professionals that need to host a large number of videos and I don't think it would be worth it to only host a few videos. We have literally hundreds of videos we host on there and it makes it easy to access and work as a team on media projects.
