Qualtrics is extremely well-suited for engaging with the wide user-base of your target platform. As a member of a team that provides on-site visits and 'discovery' engagements, Qualtrics helps our team come prepared for on-site visits. Furthermore, follow-up surveys enable our team to be nimble, ask the right questions, and submit additional surveys after our initial engagement. Qualtrics is a fantastic tool for engaging with both internal and external teams with the goal of understanding employee workflows, perceptions, and areas of growth. One can tailor surveys for a specific need and then share out to the client's preferred medium (desktop or mobile). This means that survey respondents will need to have both access and a small technological proficiency in order to successfully complete surveys - however, this is nearly a basic requirement for most administrative jobs today.

Wufoo

I have used different products in the past. I am most please with Wufoo because it is easy to use, has multiple ways for your form to be displayed on your website, and submissions can be sent multiple ways as well. We use WuFoo for support emails from our customers, for dispatcher applications, as well as people sending in emergency incident tip information. This is the perfect program for us.

  • Qualtrics offers a wide range of question formats. This feature allows for uniquely styled questions that keep a students interest.
  • Qualtrics is very useful for sending out surveys on a particular schedule at a good time to not overload our campus IT system. The reminder feature is great in that I can set up all four reminders for the entire survey when I set up the survey.
  • I most value the immediate support when I run into a problem. A problem stops my work in its tracks. It is very important that I get the issue resolved quickly so I can get on with my work.

  • Flexible, multiple entry forms: Wufoo allows users to create forms with multiple options or formats (radio, single choice, checkbox, text, paragraph text)
  • Conditional forms: Need to ask a question that only applies to a specific group? Then Wufoo is for you - it allows you to create conditional logic that allows you to reserve specific paths for specific entrants.
  • Integrations: Wufoo integrates with EVERYTHING via Zapier. You can sync it to Google sheets, email ESPs / CRMs, payment gateways... All kinds of applications for this software with its flexible uses & integrations, including embeddable HTML or direct integration to your website.

  • Qualtrics has been working to add more programs to its product line, but I am not sure yet how helpful the new lines are. It seems like they are trying to make it to where the entire company will use different platforms based on the type of feedback they need.
  • The Qualtrics insights summit is a really great way to network with all different types of researchers. I just wish they would focus more on research and less on having big-name celebrities speak.
  • Qualtrics support could use some work. It can be difficult to find help in the community. I almost always have to reach out to someone on the online chat or via email to get help.

  • Wufoo has had a cap on the total number of fields you can use per form which has been a limiting factor for us when trying to build more complex forms.
  • Wufoo does not support tabular fields or repeating fields which is a drawback since it limits the types of questions you can ask.
  • Form organization in the admin interface is a little clunky and disorganized. It would be better if there were more customized options for organizing your library of forms.

I only give it this mid-range rating because, since the 2014 Super Bowl is history, our company will be closing in a couple months. I hope in my next employment opportunity that I will be able to use Wufoo again. I will probably use it to a limited extent in my personal life to communicate with friends and contacts in a unique manner. I am also working on a Certificate in Web Development and I definitely use Wufoo as embedded forms in websites I build.

Wufoo's usability from the user to the client is simple. The forms are simple to construct and they are easy for our clients to fill out. I have yet to really hit something that is difficult to do and even when I do get a little stumped their excellent support team helps me through it.

Every time I try to use a different Form Builder - I constantly go back to Wufoo, especially compared to WordPress Plugin Form Builders. The biggest reason is the reliability of the form notifications getting sent and delivered are better than form builder that rely on the Wordpress Mail Send Feature.The only feature that I have found over the last 3 years that Wufoo is missing is the ability to customize the layout of the notification emails. But that is minor in the grand scope of its reliability.

Whenever we have had an issue with trying to figure out how to do something (even though the documentation is incredibly well put together) we have asked Qualtrics support and have always received our answer nearly immediately (I think in maybe 10 times, only once did a support person need to call us back). Qualtrics support is dedicated to solving customer issues right, and in the first contact, if at all possible

Unmatched response time and incredible support. When you submit a support e-mail you get an immediate response to let you know that they are on it. Within 10 to 15 minutes you get a detailed and educated response to the problem you are having. They either direct you to documentation on their site or they give you other avenues in which to Achieve fixing your issue. The response is always personal and never feels automated.

Implementing Wufoo was a seamless process. It was an instantaneous transition from the old pdf forms and webforms we were using to the easier to understand Wufoo forms. Employees learned it with ease and the clients response was instantaneously positive. Adding Wufoo to your workflow is not only easy it is necessary.

I would say Qualtrics is far superior in terms of functionality and ease of use but is far inferior in terms of price. Since this technology is easily imitable, I wouldn't be surprised if there are other solutions (such as SurveyGizmo) which are more economical but offer the same solution.

In terms of building reports, Wufoo is very similar to Google Forms. Both have the capability to edit live forms and immediately share them. Wufoo offers a few more features than Google Forms does as well. Overall, our department has looked at both options and continues to use Wufoo because of the data management and ease of building forms.

  • It's hard to quantify the impact because of the nature of the work we do in a university. One thing I can say is that it has been a far better replacement for the technology that was previously offered through the specialized survey administration center of the university.
  • It reduces the time one needs to prepare a questionnaire, which translates to monetary savings.

  • We've collected more revenue using less staff time than ever before. Wufoo allowed us to move online from paper-based systems.
