The 1 Level support is very poor, the response time after initial contact in most of the cases is very poor. Support engineers do not have a good knowledge of anything else except their topic. For example, you need to talk maybe to two support engineers if you have a question with the Admin Console or the user interface, a third one for making workflows or another one for actual setup.

The support for issues is not great. They do seem to take a long time to get anything resolved and often provide solutions that are not related to the problem at hand. They also seem to repeat themselves a lot which can be frustrating as we have needed to repeat ourselves three or four times to resolve an issue.

While Adobe Sign (formerly EchoSign) support has been helpful overall, there have been a few cases where support cases that seem straightforward have remained open for several months. There are a few strange issues with user accounts that support has been unable to fix that can be frustrating to deal with. In general, the support staff is competent, friendly, and easy to work with. Adobe also provides a forum where you can discuss technical issues with other Adobe Sign (formerly EchoSign) users worldwide.

Most of the time the support technicians are readily available and are very quick to respond. There have been some occasions however, when I send in a support request and it seems to get lost in the shuffle and I have to do a little digging to get a response.

They have improved this in the latter half of 2012 adding more online help which they didn't have previously. With regards to the support by a person, sometimes answers seem delayed but again this has improved in the latter half of 2012.

2013 Update:
Support has improved over the last year as has the downtime however there still is some downtime; more than there should be if they have full data center redundancy, which they should but I don't know if they do. I still don't have access to what appears to be a support portal however that is likely due to my support level.
