Benefits of Airtable
Airtable is being used by our whole organization. CARS (Counseling and Referral Services) is a free service that provides connection to resources for youth and families residing in Los Angeles County. Due to Los Angeles County being so big, our organization uses Airtable as the resource hub. We use the list and blocks to have a list that can be filtered as well as a map to reference. It is managed by the Intake Unit, which consists of 2 employees, but is accessed by around 24 employees at our organization.

It's proven to be a very valuable tool in planning and coordinating our content across all channels, for 4 brands, each with multiple customer personas within multiple verticals. The visual interface helps me control the process and meet deadlines with all team members.
We are a major international film festival on the lookout for a new database system. Our database is required to underpin all of our operations including tracking film submissions, programming and scheduling films and other events, venue operations, ticketing data and contact management. At present, AirTable is being trialled in a couple of departments - systems and operations. We are investigating how AirTable can meet our needs before we rolling it out across the entire organisation.

Airtable Rocks
We're using Airtable to create exhibition checklists. This has been done using Excel in the past which is certainly not designed for this process which requires that multiple images be tracked with cross-referenced data. Airtable is the ideal tool for this task.

Airtable has afforded us the ability to not only stay organized but to be able to better collaborate - especially with remote colleagues. Please don't be intimidated by the term "database." The system is easy to use and they offer several templates to get you set up for success!

AirTable Works!
I use Airtable to manage our communications, scheduling and contracting with Community Partners when it comes to our curriculum as well as our community events. We also use it to coordinate details with our gardens and garden leaders, as well as for our evaluation of our programs. We use it for a bulk of the organizational tracking but mainly for our Education Department. It allows us to centralize our communication-- our team and work is so spread out but overlaps based on roles and responsibilities so Airtable allows us to share information to the right person no matter where they are or we are, and track our communication with partners to continue to build strong relationships.

Airtable is used to simplify operations and processes across various departments at SKY School. Two of the primary processes that Airtable takes care of in the school are Admission Process - from walk-in data capture, admission data mapping to student database, database of students availing transport etc. It brings the entire data access to just a click away (that was earlier scattered all across the organization). Another process is the Daily Lesson Plan Management, where every week the lesson plans are all systematically collected in one table in Airtable automatically synced with cloud, using Zapier. Digitizing the offline process to a completely online end-to-end solution has saved the organization many man-hours of menial labor.

Airtable for our organizer database
We are just starting to use Airtable, but already it seems like it's going to add a lot of value over our current solution (Google Sheets). It will be used by a very small team of coordinators, who manage a lot of the operations and metrics.
For us, Airtable is going to be really useful in tracking contacts and attributes about contacts, and maintaining the connections between various tables in a more rigorous way than Google Sheets. Our data is currently rather dirty and not well-connected because of the lack of enforcing joins between tables (in Google Sheets), so Airtable will allow us to have the full functionality of a database with the ease of use of a spreadsheet, which is perfect for us!

Airtable has streamlined the way I track my sub-awards, contracts and all of the information I gather from all of our contacts. We are a small organization so I am the only one entering data at this point and our other employees are viewing the information that I have gathered. Using Airtable
We went looking for a light-weight tool to replace our project lists (spreadsheets!). We found and have been using Airtable with great success. The best part? Along the way we also found it's useful for SO MUCH MORE. We use Airtable for all kinds of collaborations that old MS files and methods just can't do! Great product!
We are a tiny not-for-profit (2 social workers) obviously without a full tech department to support us. When we decided to upgrade from MS Access, we knew that we needed something simple to use, bug-free, dynamic, able to be used across a variety of devices and platforms and providing all of the necessary data on the people we serve, the organizations we collaborate with, and our own volunteers in a clean, concise, easily navigable, easily editable format. Airtable has proven perfect for all of these needs. And to be able to edit in real time with people viewing the same screen from different locations is an added bonus. The only downside--it is so good we entered so much information that we had to upgrade pretty quickly! But our experience of using it this far leaves us convinced that the added cost will be worth it.

Flexible application for a non-profit
Like many organizations, we badly abuse Excel as a tabular data entry and storage system for so much of the administration work that falls outside the core systems we can afford to support. Airtable is helping us manage the work pipeline of various teams, online and backed up in ways we could not have previously hoped for. Importantly while addressing these things at a relatively low cost we have a flexible solution to other opportunities and problems we hope to address with Airtable in the future.
Currently, we are using AirTable within the Marketing department with the hopes of using it across the organization. For us, AirTable helps us centralize information that is typically hidden within multiple spreadsheets.

Airtable: Clean, Pure Database
We use Airtable to track the editorial flow and aggregate data for titles coming out of the SFI Press, the publishing arm of the Santa Fe Institute. Currently, it's in use just for Press staff, as our needs match closely with what Airtable provides: information storage, easy linkage of records, and progress tracking for any particular manuscript. We also use Airtable to maintain our lists of authors, editors, contractors, and printers.

We're using Airtable for knowledge, process, and records management as our research center grows to include more proposals, projects, people, publications, and presentations. A relational database management system allows us to keep track of the relationships between each of these with up-to-date records. University and funding agency guidelines expect us to retain records for reporting and we had been doing this in Google Drive, particularly Google Sheets. As we scaled up, records in Google Sheets became less manageable as new records were added that weren't properly linked. Airtable allows us to structure fields and relationships but is as easy to use or easier to use than Google Sheets.

A Must Have!
We use this to help organize artists and their entries for our art exhibitions. This is used across the whole organization since most of our work is centered around the exhibition and special events around the exhibition. The form view is a tremendous help in capturing the images of the artwork along with the artist information. This saves us the trouble of viewing the actual image instead of the image URL alone.
