- It isn't a widely used platform so I don't have the use of it that often for our groups and clients.
Web Meeting Platform that's Worth the (low) Cost
- On-Demand meetings. I am able to give clients my custom-URL so that if we are in the middle of a call and it would be helpful for them to view my screen, I just tell them the URL to enter and they are seamlessly connected without having to wait on me to email them a link.
- Reliability. Unlike some other platforms I've used, I don't experience buffering or other technical issues.
- Integration. GoToMeeting is integrated with my email platform so it's really easy to add GoToMeeting to every calendar invitation. It's also integrated with my marketing automation platform so that I can create custom landing pages for people to book meetings and seamlessly have their info go into my GoToMeeting account.
- Sometimes the control panel can be a little annoying. It typically opens on the right-hand side of the screen. You can easily minimize it but then you lose the ability to see chats, etc. Some other platforms have the control panel on the bottom of the screen.
- It would be nice if I could just share a portion of my screen. When I had two monitors, I could just select to show one monitor, but now that I've moved to one large screen, it would be nice if I could just share a portion of my screen.

- The chat feature needs improvement.
- The UI of GoTo Meeting looks outdated. It will be nice to see a modern and user-friendly UI.
- The mobile app features are not up to the mark compared to the desktop app features.

Mostly it works great. Sometimes it feels its taking a lot of internet bandwidth. So once we are meeting with mobile data while driving, it may make the calls slower.

If security was not a factor, I think GoTo Meeting and its other products are great. I like the user interface better than Webex and call quality is generally pretty good. Zoom call quality does seem a bit better though by comparison. It just seriously bothers me that their security was so lax considering what happened in my experience, especially when they own a password security product. However, without taking security into account, I thought the products were great. I used GoTo Meeting because I had such a great experience with LastPass and GoTo My PC. The usability of all their products is also great. I am saddened that my experience has tarnished their reputation for me now. I would normally be a champion for this company, but not after my experience with them.

- We like the easy nav, especially for things like sharing screens and doing presentations
- The quality of the recordings has lots of value; I can send them to a client or my team for reference or catchup
- Does not fully match the functionality of Zoom.
- I know it is a quality product and service, still the price is just a little high.
- The speed and quality level of the connection is a challenge, with some clients working with more basic connections.

- It must be easy, easy, easy for the end user. Always look for improvement opportunities.
- The cost could be better. It's relatively expensive
