We use Webex Meetings for internal meetings but the primary use is for virtual events with clients. It's a platform easy to use and Cisco has improved the look and feel of the platform, include new functionalities to fulfill the new requirements of modern communication and collaboration. Additionally, the purchase of Slido adds more value to the platform.
  • Easy way to join the meeting.
  • Easy screen sharing.
  • The different ways to record the meeting.
  • Reports about the attendance - detailed and improved recently.
  • For example, when you share your presentation (ppt) but you don't upload it, it would be useful if the other speakers could take control of the presentation to go to next slide when it is their turn.
  • We don't use very much the invitation emails that you can use through Webex Meetings as they are not very attractive and they cannot customize a lot.
  • The area for attendees, chats and Q&A, is too small if you open all of them at the same time. As organizer of events, I cannot easily see the questions that attendees send through chat or Q&A channel. I overlook some of them.
Webex Meetings is appropiate to use for internal and external audiences, adequate for internal or external meetings. Also for virtual events (you can use meetings or events) to invite people from everywhere.

Yes used for some of the meetings. We prefer to use Webex Meetings and also using this app, we see a continuous flow of communication ensured from both receiving and the transmitting end. It proved to be a worthful application in communicating things around.
  • Seamless connection.
  • Echoless communication.
  • Reduced levels of noise distortion.
  • Dynamic noise reduction in meetings.
  • Multiple meetings switch over simultaneously at the same time, if two meetings happening at the same time, some crossover functionality need to be introduced to attend meetings parallelly at the same time, instead of signing out from one meeting.
  • Adding functionality with Weblink connect to the meeting, additionally, passcode should be introduced, as it makes meeting organizer ensure that only the required attendees are attending the meeting as per the code.
Webex Meetings provides seamless communication on both ends and also it ensures quality information passover in the meetings. So, to screen share the presentations across the network attendees, it is widely suited and regarded as commonly used internal communication software.

In the company, we use Webex for meetings with clients to follow up on business opportunities. We greatly facilitate the interaction with the client and the presentations of our services. We [use and promote] Webex as a product and our customers feel confident seeing that we use it.
  • Follow up with invited participants.
  • Integration with the calendar.
  • The recording of the sessions.
  • I would like the way to create events was a simpler way.
Webex is a powerful tool in a professional environment, to make presentations to clients, training, collaboration. On the collaboration side, it's great for product development teams. Webex is not so appropriate to be used in a more relaxed environment, for example, meeting with friends which is a playful environment and needs more flexibility.

It fits our needs in planning as well as in ad-hoc meetings. Some issues occur when participants cross join via Webex and Webex Teams.

Great product which is widely used by users for daily meetings. The call quality and features have been improved over the years it doesn't feel like we are miles away or connected remotely. The experience we have is like we are sitting and having collaboration discussions within the room. Webex Meetings is used by multiple functions in our company.

We can collaborate easily with Webex. The interface is very user-friendly, and the user experience and security are certainly superior compared to many alternatives. Client view is awesome while screen sharing.
  • All functions running as expected, calendar, drawings, music/sound sharing, etc., everything works well.
  • With updates and latest version, nothing left I think in my mind.
I think in every aspect, it is suitable.

  • Meeting.

  • Joining meetings with other vendors.
  • Changing the recording to on hard drive mid-meeting.
  • Add file sharing option.
Webex Meetings is well suited for small, medium and large ENTERPRISES to conduct/join effective virtual meetings which is very easy to use for end-users. Again the features like content sharing, recording and polling features are bringing great value to it.

Used company wide but all teams. It has been incredibly useful during the COVID pandemic with most of the company working remote.
  • Collaboration.

  • Execution.
  • Support.
  • Alerting customer of new features.
Webex Meetings works well with people working in different places. Different buildings, across the country, even in separate offices it works well. It does not do well when everyone in small area are all joined to the meeting at the same time.

Webex Meetings is used regularly by our organization for team meetings with both internal and external (Cisco and select resellers and partners). We do use multiple platforms depending on what partner/customer/reseller is setting up the meeting...we predominantly use Webex. Other platforms that we use include zoom, Amazon Chime and Microsoft Teams (and occasionally an org will have developed its own platform). Webex is intuitive and helps us solve the problem of working remotely and expanding our reach.
  • Communication usually sounds good and I really like the sound cancelling features.
  • I like the ability of muting/unmuting with the space bar.
  • Functionality transfers well to mobile devices.
  • Sometimes I have some challenges with bandwidth and I sound choppy through my computer microphone (MacBook Air) and have to use my headphones and turn off video.
It's great for business meetings. Since I use many platforms I can say it's more intuitive than Microsoft Teams and I like the GUI more than Amazon Chime. To me it's pretty comparable with Zoom. I can't think of where it wouldn't be appropriate. We've even used it for HIMSS board meetings.

It's highly used as the main platform to exchange information, research and ideas between the Cisco family team and our organization. As a communication channel, it has become fundamental because through it both teams set clear as well, the technical, business and scheduling requirements otherwise simply could not be understood at all using email or other apps that we used to use. Also, their capabilities to share content and interact with the attendees by chat, emojis and handwriting certainly accelerate the discussion pace while reducing substantially the sessions spent time. On home office, Webex Meetings also has helped us because it's easy to schedule, connect and manage over other apps with the same purpose, making lighter and more dynamic to satisfy our meeting needs.
  • Easy scheduling.
  • Seamless backgrounds.
  • Translation.
  • Hard to set up audio options on some web browsers.
  • Handwriting over presentations to promote collaboration at least on PCs.
  • More emojis.
It's well suited in scenarios where presentation is from one-to-many and discussion is mainly verbal or not many changes are needed on the material that is presented. On the other hand, it's hard to work with, if the material presented needs to be modified on the go and I'm not with a Webex desk at hand.

We use it as a hybrid call and parts of the company also use it as a collaboration platform.
  • Customer experience.
  • Hold meetings.
  • Merge all systems, Webex Jabber.
  • Improve call functions in Webex Teams.
Webex is good for meetings and collaboration, less good are the call functions.

Because we resell Cisco Webex, we felt it necessary to use this application for our internal video calls. As an organization, we have employees and partners spread out throughout the United States. Webex Meetings has been a vital tool for us over the last few years in communicating with them during COVID. We now use this to in lieu of in person meetings with potential new customers. I can't stress enough how important virtual meetings are to our future success. Having a brand name with Cisco that has a user friendly application has made this transition a lot simpler.
  • Muting.
  • Focus to person or people speaking.
  • Customizing backgrounds.
  • Adding emojis.
  • Different background colors.
I believe Webex Meetings and/or any virtual meetings are now needed in any workplace environment. A scenario where it may not be needed would be to reconnect during an important transition or possibly to introduce a new team member. For example, all new hires for us are required to come to our corporate office for a few days to meet with their new team members.

Since the pandemic we have used Webex Meetings across the entire organization. The product has allowed us to continue with business with very little down time due to the ease of setup.
  • Ease of use.
  • Easy to deploy.
  • Screen sharing is easy to manage.
  • Quicker release of information when doing maintenance that may require firewall exceptions due to locations of data centers they are going to use to mitigate traffic.
Webex Meetings has been well suited for all of our meetings (remote and onsite). They have also really helped in keeping work flowing and not letting unexpected incidents stop our workflow.

We use Webex for all internal meetings and collaboration, and for most external meetings (where we can choose). For the last years with a hybrid work solution, Webex has supported the business highly.
  • Collaborate with people.
  • No fuss.
  • High security.
  • Quality.
  • Integration with Webex Teams is not complete.
  • Integration with other products that customers and partners use (Google, MS, Zoom).
Well suited for business, and meetings, not suited for support and remote help/service.

It's used by my organization by as far as having meetings with users whether they be on campus or remote and even our sister campus which is in another area of Florida. We are able to use Webex Meetings to hold our meetings with them and also use some of the features Webex has to offer with sound and video. It's a good tool to use especially in the days and times in which we now lived.
  • Screen sharing is good to be able to share data in real time.
  • Nice features to use when webinars are taking place is good.
  • Able to collaborate and present data to different folks in house and remotely.
  • Have HD voice for conferencing remotely.
  • Need to have the ability to have private chats and group chats.
  • Support Google Drive for sharing more data and Dropbox.
It's suited for companies doing meetings in-house and remote users as well. Can handle decent amount for video conferencing. Good to use to share data using screen sharing so that data can be seen by both parties in real time. These are few specifics where Webex Meetings are suited for.

Whole organization uses it. It is one of 2 platforms used for meetings and collaboration, both internally and for meetings with customers. It addresses our need to communicate, share, plan and develop strategy.
  • Integration with Outlook for ease of scheduling.
  • Recording with transcripts and keywords.
  • Flexibility of views and ease of navigation.
  • There's nothing hard about Webex Meetings, it's intuitive and easy to use. I get confused when they update it without sending out info about what's changing.
  • People I collaborate with may use another platform (Zoom or MSFT Teams), I wish the connection with other platforms was more seamless.
If you are meeting or collaborating, can't think of any scenario where Webex Meetings is not well suited. It's less useful when used on the Desktop Pro. I get used to the chat feature and it's not available in the Desktop Pro. So the ease of joining meetings on the Desktop Pro is tempered by limited functionality if you don't remember to join on your computer and connect it to your device. One step would be good.

Webex Meetings has been used in the past (and with coordination with other companies), providing a great service of meeting and coordinating support, sales, and implementation calls. But this tool has primarily been used by our product implementation team to improve making sure our product was being implemented (and providing any necessary support through scheduled calls/meetings).
  • Live meeting capabilities.
  • Video sharing functionality.
  • Recordings of our meetings.
  • Takes awhile to get people set up.
  • Sometimes sharing screens gets complicated.
I feel like this is a great meeting platform and experience for the general user, especially for those who are looking for more functionality than Zoom. I haven't had much need or experience with sound/noise reduction, but from other users, this also is a huge plus for using this.

Webex Meetings are being used across our campus through the Educator Connector within the Learning Management System, as well as a videoconferencing platform for students, faculty and staff. It was launched in July 2020 during the pandemic and provided faculty and students with synchronous meetings during remote learning, as well as hybrid learning. The addition of Slido has been a great benefit to engagement both with students and with events.
  • Automatically adjusts to the level of connection depending on the users bandwidth.
  • Engagement with students and attendees with Slido integration.
  • Excellent video and audio during videoconferencing.
  • Sharing screens and file features took faculty some time to properly use and were improved with each update.
  • Grateful for the video conferencing within breakouts that finally occurred.
  • Still waiting for closed captioning as part of the licensing agreement (adding web assistant an included service).
Having permanent links though the personal rooms are great for virtual office hours for students who aren't already in courses.

We have access to a variety of meeting tools within our company. My primary platform is Webex - not because of a mandate, but because I prefer the quality experience delivered by Webex vs. any other platform. The Webex suite allows my team, which is global, to stay connected and productive. Simple to use, easy to administer, and covers all of the collaboration bases.
  • Allows easy dial-in/dial-out audio for superior quality.
  • Content sharing is super easy and effective.
  • Sharing real-time feedback.
  • The user-interface is getting a bit dated.
  • Wish I had more control over how video is displayed, esp. when many others are on video.
Webex Meetings is best suited where you have content to share and many participants in your meeting. It's somewhat less ideally positioned to support ad hoc meetings with only one or two others when sharing needs are limited/non-existent and voice is the focus.

Webex with integrated audio meetings were deployed in the organization as a cost saving and collaborative experience to existing meeting and audio conferencing bridge solutions. The problem at hand was to collaborate audio and video meetings into a single platform. Webex turned out to be a clear winner in comparison to its competitors in regards to the following - Ease of use, multi platform support and being able to join meetings seamlessly. The added audio conferencing feature and the ease of the dialout feature was a boon. This product was deployed across global company locations and the user feedback was far better than expected. Even though different geographies were using different systems, OS and were divided in terms of the use cases for the product, Webex was very well accepted even with user who have been with the earlier product for decades.

The business problem at hand was cost saving and this new solution and hand helped establishes roughly 25% cost savings when accessed over the next couple of months- way better than what we were expecting.

  • Ease of use on different platforms.
  • The meeting interface is clean with the focus control being able to be moved as needed.
  • The integration that meeting has with conventional dial in audio is great.
  • A transcript feature can be added
  • The meeting chat is with everyone/host. Would be great to see "breakout rooms" options
  • When opting to install the "application" to join a meeting, it takes more than the expected time to install it.
Webex meeting has been used in the organization for team meetings and company wide webinars as well (although that needs a different license). I found the platform to be less helpful with a small group of people (2-3) understanding the license use cost that are associated with it. But rest the product is apt for almost any set of meetings if the license cost is something we can keep at bay.

Webex Meetings is used across the whole organization. We had one application for each thing, but luckily that changed and now it is unified in a single app. The new app is very elegant and modern, the client is very happy. Teams is a strong competence for meetings, because is native with Windows and Office licenses.

  • Audio clarity, voice person.
  • Audio block noise.

  • Breakout rooms.
  • Video quality.
  • Noise reduction.
  • Virtual backgrounds.
Webex is suited for all different scenarios - 1:1 meetings or even larger meetings. Of course meetings would not work for event type scenarios, but that is why there are Events.
