Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak

We are using it to monitor the productivity of all of our salaried staff. It had helped us identify individuals that are not focused on work.
  • Management of Productive/Unproductive activity is easy.
  • The stock reports are very detailed and easy to use.
  • The onboarding process is first class.
  • Some reports take a bit to load as there is a lot of data.
  • We had issues with classification performance early on which have been resolved.
  • At times, the agent will hang up and productivity will continue to be counted.
  • We eliminated 3 people from a position that only required 1.
  • The cost of the product is nothing compared to the loss of productivity that it's monitoring.
  • Data connect as it has allowed us to built custom reports and dashboards
  • Classification is simple and not overburdensome.
We are able to see and monitor the non-value-add activities that our associates take part in. This leads us to help them modify their behavior.
We're able to tell if an associate is in fact working and not just playing with their machine. We can also gauge how effective they are when remote working vs working in the office.
Teramind was a horrible mess that never worked right from day 1. Their support and sale staff were slow and non-responsive.
Having used one of their competitor's products, I can say that ActivTrak just plain works and is very easy to use. It does not take a lot of babysitting to get results.

Using ActivTrak

340 - Every Salary associate has an agent installed. This includes c-suite as well.
1 - Currently I am the only one that support ActivTrak, it has been pretty hands off from the beginning requiring minimal support.
  • Performance monitoring
  • Finding associates wasting time with non value added tasks
  • Finding positions that are under staffed or require reduction based on reporting
  • Using it has found gaps in security standards by knowing what the associates are doing
  • We could empower the associate to see what they are doing how they are productive and unproductive.
We have found it to be an invaluable tool to increate employee productivity and focus.

Evaluating ActivTrak and Competitors

Yes - Teramind, it had constant issues and support was non existent.

I wouldn't, ActivTrak is spot on and very flexible.

IT was as easy as pushing the agent out to the machines that needed to be tracked.

We had an issue with the classification page taking forever to update anything. They were diligent at finding the root cause and resolving.

It's never been down.
Some reports are a little slow to load based on the size of record sets returned.

They were very good at staying on top of our needs and answering questions.
