Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Analytics

Adobe Analytics is used across marketing and product departments. It is the "go-to" source for web and app data. It provides data to help us understand how visitors are using the site/app, and what areas are causing potential issues. There are some out of the box metrics, but [it] also [has] the ability to create custom metrics/segments/dimensions to track site usage and performance as specifically as needed.
  • Compare web visitor segments
  • Create specific, custom metrics/segments
  • Easily visualize trends
  • Compare metrics to a previous date range
  • Color scheme is not great, especially if you're color blind
  • Finding a specific dimension within a dimension group (for example, if you're looking for "Paid Search", you cannot search for it - instead, you must know it is located under "Channel").
  • Variance test or chi-squared test analysis (to be fair, this is not a typical analysis tool function)
  • Comparing metrics on A/B tests
  • Using historical data to estimate potential impact of changes
  • Identifying pain areas and friction pages on sites
  • Understanding conversion rates by segment
  • It has helped us know where to focus our optimization efforts, and then analyze those optimization tests in greater detail than we otherwise could. This has decreased cost per lead and increased our marketing efficiency.
  • It has given us data to understand how pages, sections, and sites perform. This has enabled us to make informed decisions about future releases and changes, or needed adjustments. This has in turn, saved marketing dollars.
Adobe Analytics is more expensive than Google Analytics, but Adobe Analytics is also more robust, customizable, and extensive. The level of detail and specificity available in Adobe Analytics is much greater.
