Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
ADP is used across the organization. It's basically the source of truth for everything related to payroll. It's where you go if you want to see how much you're being paid, and how much PTO you have as well. It's also where you go for taxes and information related to that. So needless to say, it's a pretty important portal. Basically, everyone has to use it at some point in time, even if it is infrequent and not necessarily a day to day use tool.
- It has all the information you need relating to payroll.
- It is online.
- It has BambooHR/Okta integration
- The interface is downright clunky.
- The security is questionable, especially considering it keeps you out of your own account most of the time.
- It's hard to find what you're looking for, even if it's all there.
- The application itself looks super dated.
- I wish it didn't lock you out of your account so easily, and have existing integrations break.
- It makes it hard to access information about payroll when you need it.
- It is often a road block since it's so difficult to access.
- Lost passwords are so common, and the fact that you need your password to be reset by an administrator is a slow process.
- Within the app, it almost seems like information is obfuscated on purpose.
I have only ever used ADP Workforce Now. I can only imagine that it could be so much better. It is still perhaps much better than any paper solution...though sometimes I wonder by how much. If they could make this into a more easily accessible, usable, but yet still secure platform for payroll, it would be infinitely more useful. At present, it is discouraging even trying to log in.
My company chose ADP, probably because they are the leading payroll solution. To re-iterate, if there was another alternative that was as prevalent and established, I'm sure they could make a better end product as far as features and especially usability goes. They need some more UX designers over there because it just isn't working out.
