Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

We use HubSpot to generate and store leads for our tech company, utilising the lead forms, workflows, sequences and meetings in which we are creating a lead generation and nurturing machine.
  • Attributes the origin of leads entering the database.
  • Tracks ad conversions and performance.
  • Has all the main features needed to run a business.
  • Workflows are difficult to create advanced automations for contact actions and contingencies - it has a basic Klaviyo type function.
  • There are a mountain of properties across company, deals and contacts that We will never use we should be able to delete and edit or just be able to select the properties we want to use rather than having to sift through so many just to see what we need.
  • Some basic functions I believe we shouldn't need to pay extra for such as cleaning contacts features that should be standard with the platform.
  • We are able to attribute lead origin and original source easily allowing us to determine winning paid strategies.
  • Able to manage and maintain lead contact history across all members.
  • Reporting allows us to cross-pollinate sales and marketing data to isolate potential gaps in lead process.
It's almost so easy to use and "dumbed" down that it's complex to use compared to other CRMs, it's so different from every CRM in functionality and usability that it feels like it doesn't work sometimes.
For front to end use HubSpot does the job as I would prefer to use Keap any day of the week for what we ideally need to do with lead and call status tagging, contingencies and automations, but it requires I use a Calendly plug-in and other 3rd-party apps where HubSpot has all the features in one at the cost of more $$ and usability.

Do you think HubSpot CRM delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with HubSpot CRM's feature set?

Yes

Did HubSpot CRM live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of HubSpot CRM go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy HubSpot CRM again?

No

HubSpot is suited for all sizes of companies, however, it feels more like a middle-ground tool for more basic and straightforward operations, if your trying to have sophisticated automations based on specific actions in a marketing funnel or sequence, programs like Keap are more suitable for this sort of automation and tagging contingencies whereas HubSpot is more of an all-round, can do everything just fine but not everything is "great."
