Overall Satisfaction with Litmus
We code production emails for our clients and use litmus to test our emails before deployment. This helps us ensure correct rendering across all email clients and devices.
- tests all relevant/important email clients
- easy to use interface
- easy to re-test an email
- whenever I look at past versions of an email its impossible to navigate to the most current version or even other past versions of the email - so frustrating!!
- tests can be slow to load
- the blog could have more info on relevant topics such as dark mode - I like when you have examples, those are really helpful.
- Needs more participation in the community section so we can all share certain issues we are having and be able to get a lot of responses with ideas on how to fix those issues
- we look more reliable to our clients since their emails always go out looking great
- the proof feature has made reviews and client edits so much easier/faster for everyone to communicate
- we give clients assurance that our emails are great when we tell them we use litmus for testing
no - it is harder. I prefer to just litmus's site over the integrated litmus page in Salesforce
We use the proof feature to input client or internal edits and love it because it is so easy to see where and exactly what needs changed
Litmus seems more robust - ultimately we are just more familiar with litmus so stuck with that. I don't think Email on Acid had a proof feature either and that was important to us
