Overall Satisfaction with Miro

1. It is not used as standard software, but for some workshops. 2. Various departments have used it so far. 3. Also, other tools like MS Whiteboard and Mural are helpful which offer similar functionality. 4. I would say it enables you to have any workshop online as you did offline.

  • Miroverse with good templates
  • Copy items/content back to MS Office.
  • Font sizes on post-its.
  • Easy online cooperation.
  • Structured workshop.
  • Flexible brainstorming.
The handling for new users is difficult which costs some extra time in the beginning. Interaction with other standard software must be improved. Copy and paste must work in both directions. Better storage function for documentation needed.
As mentioned before, it was difficult to integrate regards data exchange. Integration in MS Teams works well.
It helped a lot to cooperate.

We did not choose Miro as standard.
Miro is well suited for online workshops with various team members who might be at different locations. It enables you to organize and execute the entire workshop. Handling for new users is difficult because somehow it differs from common usage. So plan an extra 20 minutes for a workshop with new users. Documentation functions should be improved as well as local storing of data.
