Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use it externally during the meeting with the customers to gather feedback and collaborate with them on daily meetings. Miro allows us to work efficiently together between users located in different places.
  • Predefined elements on the board.
  • Multiple users can work on the same thing on the same board.
  • User friendly, compared with Lucid chart.
  • Great flexibility and endless ways of using it.
  • When multiple users in a big board and focus on one thing are hard to locate in the big board.
  • More tutorials or workshops would be welcomed.
  • Tips and tricks how to use tools smart.
  • Improved planned on next sprint thanks to an efficient way to capture lessons learned from big audiences.
  • Time saving.
  • Interesting tool to use during Zoom meeting that keeps people to follow the screen.
I joined on ongoing projects so I’m not properly introduced.
I know Miro has extensive integration capabilities, but personally didn’t use many in my work because there was no need for it and also due to my relatively short experience with the tool itself. I find it great on its own and integration is just great addition for me but does not prevent me to use it efficiently.
This is exactly our use case, multiple teams located in different countries and remote workers. Our primary tool was Jira, but it was lacking this freedom that Miro grants, and thanks to the master of whiteboard who was leading everyone else we could have super-efficient reviews of what we did so far and collect feedback way easier than eg via survey. It was also fun to play on the Miro whiteboard with arrows and different shapes and move it eg on heat zones.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Way more flexible and easy to use, more functionalities, however in Jamboard I loved the possibility to handwrite and then turn it to text or just handwrite my ideas on it (when on the iPad) for brainstorming. Handwrite to text was not a must, but making notes by hand or simple drawings were faster in capturing what I had in my mind than creating it right away on the board.
Well suited: remote teamwork, collecting feedback, and prioritizing items.
Less appropriate: Less use of it in the face-to-face meeting.
