Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is an invaluable tool for collaborative virtual whiteboarding within your organization, serving a variety of purposes. Here's how you can effectively utilize it:1. **Personal Development Conversations**: You can create boards dedicated to individual goals, skill development, and track progress over time.2. **Project Teams**: For project teams, Miro is a central hub. Create project boards where team members can collaborate on planning, timelines, and tasks. Visualize workflows, allocate responsibilities, and keep everyone on the same page, even if they're in different locations.3. **Ideation Sessions**: Miro shines in ideation sessions. Its digital canvas allows participants to contribute ideas, sketches, and concepts in real-time. You can use templates and frameworks to guide brainstorming sessions effectively.4. **Team Building Events**: Miro can foster team building in a virtual environment. Organize interactive activities, games, or challenges on the platform. It promotes creativity and collaboration, bringing remote teams closer together.5. **Hybrid Work Environment**: In a hybrid work setup, Miro is pivotal. It ensures seamless collaboration between on-site and remote employees. Everyone can access and contribute to boards from their respective locations, fostering inclusivity.6. **Design Team's Work**: Miro serves as the primary workspace for your design team. They can post work for review, pictures of prototypes, and mood boards collaboratively. The only frustration is getting each employee in the company signed up with a license in order to have edit rights during a brainstorm even though they may not all be regular users. occasional contributions.editing rights without full licenses.
  • Collaborative work session with employees in many locations
  • Keeps a record of all project work all in one place to easily move around and view
  • Many features that make work session easier and more fun. We love critiquing work with emojis!
  • More license options so folks that are regular users can participate in sessions once in a while with edit rights
  • Better sorting and filing of boards. It can often be hard to find a board if you don’t know the name of it or for which “team” it was created.
  • Allow adding videos that are not hosted online
  • Miro saved us when covid hit. We were able to switch totally to remote project collab and keep everything on time
  • Miro gives all participants in a project or session equal voice because everyone can post, comments and add. It is better than a live session in that way
  • Miro saves a time of time compared to in person worksession where ideas or work is written on a wall and then has to be translated to digital to report out.
Miro is integrating with other products, like Microsoft Teams. I gave the rating because I think it is early days and Miro will integrate with more products, making it easier to be a one stop shop for all project content.
We have teams in MANY different locations so using Miro is vital to our workflow.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is better than Mural with features, but they are similar. Miro blows away any whiteboard collab tool embedded in Microsoft Teams, which are difficult for any team members to use together.
Miro is great for group ideation and collaboration even when people are all over the world. I would not use it for creating data analytics or metrics.
