Overall Satisfaction with Rubrik

Rubrik is being used organization-wide. It helps us with backup deliverables for our critical and major systems. It is also used for disaster recovery for our virtual machine servers. Knowing that we are secure, and have a backup, makes us sleep better at night. The company is going through a digital transformation. We are transitioning from the typical tape method to doing backups with Rubrik and archiving it to the cloud thru AWS.

ComVault and Dell NetWorker. We liked Rubrik better.

It is a well-curated technology that caters to the needs of some industries and companies who are looking for an easy to use, understandable and manageable platform. It is well suited for almost any industry. Support is fast and the customer relationship is great. The level of support and troubleshooting are the best.

Customer Experience

Because of its superior technology and from experience of using it.
Based on my experience and user journey. support is fast based on how you set your priority level of the issue. Support seems to have a right tool to support its customer. In my experience no issues was left unturned from the support.

How fast and reliable the solution is in performing backup.
I would say it would still be the same process. We were mostly keen on the superiority of the technology from the products we were choosing.

Rubrik Implementation

From experience the implementation was smooth and easy, like a simple plug and play format but would need coordination from your network team to be able to see the entire IT infrastructure.

Configuring Rubrik

In my humble opinion it is just the right type of complexity.
Just following the best practices on backup practice and rubrik's standard.
No - there is no facility to customize the interface
No - the product does not support adding custom code
None. It is still out of the box configuration.

yes. for us to be at ease and not have further trouble.
When I have a UI issues where I can't recover and see my backups. International support, local support and even head of support jumped in and helped us t resolve the issue.

Have a concrete negotiating plan. And gently work your way towards a mutual price.
