We use Slack as an internal-team productivity management tool. It allows us to create groups on various topics of interest and write, comment stuff on them. We use it to discuss our design, deployments and more. We can also create threads with topics as well and it allows one-to-messaging.

Great for chatting and productivity as individual tools. But as integrated productivity management is painful - Google is a disintegrated tool, challenging to manage information
