Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
I use TeamViewer to access some of my customer's computers, both desktop/notebooks and also servers (physical and virtual). It allows me a quick way to access their environments, mostly for some small companies or personal users that do not have an IT department that can provide support to them.
- Simple to install and configure, that's reason number one.
- File transfer option, ideal to send updates or get files to work locally.
- Desktop sharing option, to reproduce issues or explain solutions.
- It is not possible to share a connection with more than one participant, that would be great when you need additional help.
- Version compatibility with older clients.
- Ability to quickly interact with user's desktops, sharing screen and files or working together, reducing time to fix issues.
- Ability to provide support no matter where I am.
Since I access several customers and environments, I wanted an easy-to-install/use solution. Team Viewer provides desktop sharing, remote access, and file transfer in a single solution and most of my customers have already used it either personally or in a previous business, so it seemed a great option.

No, I did not purchase premium support, and fortunately never required support since the product is stable and reliable and never faced problems while using TeamViewer.

The most important one is that TeamViewer is really easy to install and to use. Most of my customers do not have an IT department that can install the product so the ability to quickly install and get access to a remote computer or server without dealing with complex installation or network configuration was a plus.

- File transfer works OK to send updates or get logs and analyze them locally
- Remote Printing is easy to set up
- Hotkeys can be sent to the remote computer
- Seting a static password, I had to do that some time ago and it was not easy, I do not know in newer versions
Yes - I had to use it only once while I was travelling and did not have my laptop at hand, it was OK to fix a small issue, probably not ideal do do complex tasks but it overall the application worked OK and I was able to fix the problem.
