It fits the size of our organization and is very user-friendly. It seems to be run by more modern people in the back. The website and all the documents and webinars offered are dynamic looking. All of these small details helped us make our decision and we like it.

I would not use this company for anything. [I believe my] employees [absolutely] hate the software and there are constantly glitches in the software which occur every payroll run, benefits enrollment, etc. [I have spent] large amounts of time on the phone with outsourced customer support[,] so think twice when comparing [the] cost to other providers. [I feel] you [will] need someone full time to deal with all of their issues. We are currently in the process of setting up another PEO company. The amount of money and time to implement ADP has been a huge loss.

As I mentioned before, our employee record maintenance has improved dramatically. I no longer store documentation on my desktop or in email. Everything is housed in one application. I have one place to go for data storage instead of two or three. It's a time saver, and the onboarding feature also helps with that by storing documentation where it should be stored.

  • Payroll was easy to learn and use with time tracking in a short time frame
  • Tracking team members request offs and approving them were very easy
  • Customizing reports for specific periods of time. This made is very easy for end of year tracking for total hours worked and total dollars paid.

  • The Applicant Tracking System is pretty good. Has a couple flaws but over all it's a really great module.
  • The HR management system works really well and we love how much we can customize things we need.
  • The Reporting feature is one of my favorite things about BambooHR. I can create any report I want and I love that.

  • Customer service is horrible
  • Follow up takes 7-10 days, and requires multiple inquiries from you, the client
  • The promised "dedicated team" doesn't exist
  • Onboarding is confusing to new hires
  • Explanation of benefits to new hires is useless and must be done in office, thereby negating any value.
  • They should not provide handling UI claims as as service. They have no ability to actually meet deadlines.

  • The performance feature is a little clunky and not adjustable, so I would love to have more customizable options.
  • When a candidate signs an offer letter, it would be great if it could show up under the documents tab. Right now, it gets a little buried.

There's nothing wrong with this platform. I would recommend it to any business starting with more than 10 employees. I will continue to use the program for as long as I need to, hoping they continue being tremendous and finding other ways to incorporate more technology.

BambooHR has been easy for me as a first-time HRIS user. It is clean and straightforward to operate. It has been an excellent upgrade for us. It seamlessly links to our website for job postings, and recruiting/onboarding is now easily tracked and done. BambooHR took us into the correct century in many ways.

Yes, there is a huge team in the back of the online platform or it looks like it because I have never been left without an answer when I have a question or waiting from a response on my chat .... There must be a huge team, this is so great and I always seem to have someone that is very knowledgeable too. So many times in the past I had to leave with customer service that would connect you with someone else because of the expertise, here everyone seems to be some kind of an expert in the HR function.

I love BambooHR. Reports are easy to run and download and it usually covers any types of requests I get from the management team. You get excel or .csv downloads/reports and it is fast and simple, not too crowded so it is easy to read through. We don't integrate the tool yet but again, soon we will. we just did not had the time to utilize it yet but that's the plan.

BambooHR support has been a pleasant surprise. I expected with a larger payroll/HR provider for the support to be a sticking point. BambooHR's support has been quite easy to contact and, in almost every case, very quick to respond with a solution to the issue we are facing.

As far as I can recall, everything went well with doing it online and got questions answered. Was thankful to work with a dummy file to get used to some practices prior to getting our own domain within bamboo to then place our personnel information in the system, this helped a lot!

We implemented bambooHR in Fall, 2023 then implemented Payroll 1/1/24. A vital piece of information was not known or missed in that we are exempt from State Unemployment Tax and have a Reimbursement Set-up, so bambooHR did not send Payroll Reports to the State. Those reports need to be sent regardless if we are exempt or not.

At the moment, we have not investigated any of the products available in the drop-down list provided. However, we have evaluated some other (unavailable) products and have been intrigued by the potential decrease in fees along with the potential for a much more "rich" benefit plan. We can't speak to the level of customer service observed by current clients, only to apparent cost savings.

BambooHR is much better. I often found TriNet had limited info and tools. We did not bother using it for timesheets or time off requests because it was just too annoying. It was also annoying to navigate. Many links to resources took you off the website. Bamboo includes everything within the platform and makes it easy.

Since my organization has dropped with employees, I always find ways to reduce costs. I thought there would be a cheaper option, but I was glad that my package included a lot for the price, and downgrading would cost more. The rep could have let me downgraded and taken me to a higher package. I am thankful that didn't happen.

There is so much you can do with this platform, it is incredible and so welcoming. We don't utilize it 100% yet just because we are growing and the HR team has not been able to concentrate on other areas offered to us but but we will soon. Which is also why we got the product, specifically because what BambooHR can do to help us meet our growing business needs.

  • It has cost us more money from a financial aspect and then taken away my main/other job duties because I have to focus all of my time on ADP TotalSource and basically fixing errors that happen weekly/every time an employee is added or terminated (which is more than the normal company due to the nature of our business).

  • Gave more time back to HR, Directors, and Managers by providing options for easy reports and a place to have all the information.
  • PTO! This has given so much time back to accounting as they no longer have to manually calculate PTO and it's also allowed our team to feel more comfortable to take time off by having an official way to ask off and see what their balances are.
  • Onboarding and offboarding: this has helped HR with the many many tasks of helping team members come onboard as well as when they leave a company.
  • Professionalism: the ability to create forms and has stepped up our game for new hires and even tracking things we have needed our team to fill out!
