Having the ability to schedule and use analytics in the same platform is a huge benefit. From the beginning Spredfast is very easy to navigate and simple to catch on to using the basic functions.

  • Very easy to use interface. Simple to pickup and master.
  • Solid analytics.
  • Good (but not perfect) workflow and governance.
  • Solid mobile apps for easy approvals when away from the office.

  • Sprout Social provides almost real time access to our customer comments and posts across Twitter, Facebook, blogs and other online searches.
  • Our entire Social Care team is able to use Sprout globally to respond to customers and assign tasks to other users. We are also able to segment our fans into lists, identify customers and more.
  • The Analytics section in Sprout does an amazing job of providing the proper KPI's for our company. Whether you need to know the efficiency of our Engagement, speed to response, popular posts or channel growth the reports are all there.
  • We have had a very good relationship with our account manager. They are sensitive to our unique use cases and work with us to find solutions. We are also very excited for the Enterprise version of Sprout to be released.
  • Sprout's easy to use Inbox makes it easy for us to respond to comments, archive them and categorize responses.

  • We would really like Sprout to add Sentiment to the listening portion.
  • It would also be nice if Sprout had labels so we could further categorize the social comments and posts.
  • Due to the Facebook API we don't believe that the Engagement score shown by our Care Team is always accurate.

There is no product like Spredfast. Our company lives and dies by the analytics, and to date we have not seen a more comprehensive analytics structure for any social media management tool. Spredfast support is also fantastic, responding and resolving any and all questions, ideas, or complaints, usually in 24 hours.

We are happy with Sprout and have no desire to change products. We do hope that Sprout is able to provide some of the more advanced features like labeling and sentiment. There are some solutions that are specifically geared for Social Care and are tied into the CRM system.

• As they have completely re-designed the UI, it is great now. Much better than it used to be. One of the things I really like is the concept of a “workspace” I can define the UI experience for different classes of users. One of the problems with the UI before was that it was very cluttered and confusing. I can now remove functionality from the UI that is not required by a certain role so that the user experience is much more intuitive.

Sprout Social is extremely easy to use and would only require minimal training for a new user. They have many features and functionalities that I absolutely love. I can't speak highly enough of their mobile app! As I've mentioned, this app has been a life saver when I've been traveling and have been unable to access a desktop

The customer support is a big reason why I continue to use and love Sprout Social. I also used Sprout while working with a previous employer, so they have been familiar with my name for quite some time now. You always have access to a person 24/7 - whether it be via email, phone, live chat (love it!) or even if you tweet your issue to them. I've tweeted an issue in the past via my personal account and have received a response in 10 minutes or less! Their customer service and support is top-notch

• • We did several different types of training. We went there for initial training, and we had them send a trainer into our facilities. We also used the online webinars extensively. In general, I thought that the training needed to be a little more formal. It tends to be more of a software tour, rather than actual hands-on training. This is an opportunity for improvement that they are aware of an working on.

The trainers are very resourceful and are able to deliver the knowledge to all trainees. The simpleness of using Sprout Social, despite its amazing technical capabilities, is by itself a big encouragement boost

Alternatives Considered

I think that Sprinklr had more advanced analytics but Spredfast has a better layout and platform/easier to use, in addition to easier responding/labelling.

Much better interface and flexibility. Plans include features instead of features being a la carte at additional costs. Sprout team is local to the city I work in so access to support is a benefit. Overall the support and training (including webinars and phone) offerings are proactive and very responsive to customer needs.

  • Our team uses social media to increase brand awareness. Spredfast has helped us achieve and measure our progress towards this goal. Content labels allowed us to track which content performed best. Knowing this enabled us to tailor future content and write posts that followers actually wanted to read and share, which then increased our social media following organically by thousands of users over the past year.
  • Our Spredfast account reps worked with us personally to perform an in-depth analysis of our social media followers. We now know who our key brand advocates and influential followers are.
  • During our company's annual conference, Spredfast's monitoring tools were invaluable for tracking mentions of the company and the conference. The tool also helped us track visits to the company website from social posts, which helped prove to executive leadership the value of social media.

  • We are able to provide better customer service on our social channels due to the fact that we are able to receive the majority of our social mentions quickly and efficiently.
  • We are also able to tag and track our Influencers.
  • Sprout is a cheaper solution than a lot of the enterprise products in the market although it lacks some of the listening and analytics tools the more robust platforms have.
