Keyword research and customer service from BrightEdge were not on par with Conductor. Searchmetrics has a never-ending search visibility score that can make reporting difficult.

Great Enterprise SEO Platform
We evaluated BrightEdge and SearchMetrics. Ultimately it came down to choosing between Conductor and BrightEdge. We chose Conductor because of their development philosophy. They partner with the best in class solutions instead of trying to build all their technology in-house. Also, WeWork's acquisition of Conductors gives them a lot more resources to improve and expand the offering.

I evaluated BrightEdge and thought they were a close competitor for Conductor. However, after attending the C3 Conference and talking with Conductor clients, I was sure the Customer Service approach that Conductor implemented was the best path for me being such a small team. Other universities within the UNC System use SiteImprove, but I found they were really just a tool with reports. I found them hard to understand, share and navigate on my own.

Always looking for more insights with Conductor!
I have evaluated Ahrefs & BrightEdge and found them lacking in the information that Conductor can provide me as far as content development and keyword research. I currently use Semrush, but will not be renewing for the year since most, if not all, of the services provided by Semrush can be accessed from Conductor.

We never had an enterprise SEO platform prior to Conductor. We were using free/inexpensive platforms like SEMrush, Moz, Google Analytics, etc. We switched to Conductor for efficiency reasons and to gain more visibility and resources to make strategic business decisions.

Conductor's platform is much easier to use compared to Semrush and provides our company with accurate data that is easily digestible by anyone who is looking at it outside of the marketing team. Best of the Breed for Enterprise SEO Platform Selection
I have evaluated BrightEdge, Searchmetrics, and seoClarity. I have been using BrightEdge for several years. Over the years I found that BrightEdge was missing a few features that I need to do the job. I happened to see a product demo from Conductor and I was impressed by the product features that they showed me. I also noticed that BrightEdge had made not much change about their tool for the past few years. Therefore, I formed a team to do a deep analysis and compare the top SEO platform vendors products. After a very detailed evaluation and comparison, we felt that Conductor has the feature that matches our requirements the most. I also noticed that the latest Gartner report showed that Conductor has become the market leader. Therefore we selected Conductor.

Prior to Conductor, we primarily used the Google Analytics suite of tools and Google Ads tools. We definitely lacked the competitor analysis and deep dive across domains that Conductor enables us to perform on-demand.

Need winning SEO? Look no further. Conductor is TOPS!
Of all the platforms we evaluated, Conductor stood out head-and-shoulders above the rest. Their product catalog provides exactly what we need (and more), and their customer support team is second to none. I've worked with Conductor in two previous roles as well (the first by discovery, the second by my own recommendation); both organizations saw a dramatic increase in online properties' presence from an SEO approach; organic traffic increased substantially, along with gaining a plethora of insights that were an absolute necessity.
