Sales, marketing & executive leadership, use Keap (formerly Infusionsoft). It helps keep most things automated. It helps to organize & manage prospects & Sales cycles. I also love the workflows & drip campaigns that we're able to implement. Reasonably easy to set up, & even easier to adjust/update as needed. It saves my team a significant amount of time.
  • Ties everything together nicely.
  • Keeps all prospect & client info I’m a single platform.
  • Tracks and reports not only sales but related commissions as well.
  • Target lists.
  • Activity planning & tracking
  • Lead scoring
Cons
  • Customer support could be better
  • Limitations on data size (files) that can be sent; unfortunately, a user typically does not know that they’ve exceeded the max # of characters until the document is completed.
Well suited for small & medium-size businesses, & moderate marketers.
Less suited (but still effective) for large/enterprise companies.
Less suited for organizations without at least a semi-dedicated staff member to ask as administrator/expert/trainer, &/or person responsible for setting up campaigns, triggers, etc.
Great CRM, but less effective as a marketing automation tool (IMO), although improvements continue.

  • The marketing automation piece is the key. This allows a small business owner to reduce overhead while making the customer feel like they are omnipresent.
Cons
  • E-Commerce - althoug they have significantly upgraded the e-commerce capabilities, if you are running a e-commerce site with thousands of products, you will likely want to use a different e-commerce system and hook it into Infusionsoft using the API.
  • My biggest complaint is that compared to my prior experience with Salesforce, Infusionsoft is buggy. I wish they would do a better job of quality control before each new release.
Not at this time.

  • Automates your follow up system.
  • Allows you to track where every lead is coming from.
  • Can be set up to cross-sell your various products and services.
  • Fully integrates with multiple landing pages and websites.
  • Has a client billing module built into the higher end ecommerce edition.
  • Can be used as a tool to educate your new clients and answer their frequently asked questions.
  • Can identify new leads and pass them on to your sales team in real time.
Cons
  • Does not have a great dashboard system. In fact, we ended up creating our own.
  • Takes some getting used to if your staff is not technically inclined.
  • Requires a fair amount of set up work.

Infusionsoft is a great tool for any business that wants to know what their marketing is really doing and who wants their sales team to know who their customer really is.

  • Marketing follow-up automation.
  • Sales automation.
  • When used properly, you'll know not just which marketing efforts provide the most leads, but more importantly, which efforts provide the best leads.
Cons
  • Infusionsoft REALLY needs better split-testing tools. When I suggest "better" I really mean "any". You'll need 3rd party tools to implement any real split-testing. This is a key area for a marketing platform tool that I really feel leaves a gap that competitors will fill.
This tool isn't a magic bullet unless you put time into it up front and manage it going forward. While it is an automation tool, like any other tool, you will need a plan and devote time to executing.

Infusionsoft was used to help support outreach efforts for a local organization that I was working with. The software application is essentially a CRM type program that provides sales and communications support without a huge price tag found on rival packages. It was used with a small base of volunteers and users and worked very well within that small user base. It was easy to learn, utilize, and support. It helped provide services for outreach communication and funding campaigns.
  • The program works very well with a small base of employees without a need for extensive support.
  • The program has some feature-rich solutions for mobile platforms as well.
  • The interface works well and is easy to utilize, even for novice users.
Cons
  • Some of the reporting features are not as extensive as other CRM programs but that is to be expected at this price point.
  • Contact management functions may not be as powerful as they are in products such as Salesforce.
  • In some instances, there were problems with file upload support.
The product works really well at providing automated marketing tools combined with email support. While it can be more expensive with a large audience of contacts, for smaller audiences, the program works well with small to medium marketing groups. There is an auto-responder feature that can be really useful, especially with lower levels of staffing in an organization. Infusionsoft also has some really good reporting tools for reviewing the success rate of outreach campaign efforts.
