  • Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
Personally I would prefer Google Workspace because it integrates better with the Android based tools that I already use. I also like how Google's Docs, Sheets, and Slides online functionality is their focus rather than an addon to get to the cloud. Google Workspace's sharing capabilities are much easier to manage. But Google Drive is a mess to organize. I'm sure that Microsoft Teams blows Google out of the water, but my organization hasn't implemented that feature yet!

Both Google and Dropbox have programs for creating content. They can get the job done but there is a reason Microsft 365 is an industry standard. You can pull together a bunch of different apps and try to get them to communicate together if you want. But it will be a headache. You might as well spend the time it takes to understand how the Microsoft 365 suite works and just stick to it.

MS office 365 has been in the market for long time, nonetheless other products line google email takes it over for the speed and GUI design. Office 365 is selected because when the decision was made there was not better competitors, and Office 365 still has it values.

Microsoft 365 is the industry leader for a reason. Their programs are unmatched in terms of accessibility, ease of use, and functionality. Every tool is accessible in one place and once you learn how to use all the functions Microsoft 365 has to offer, there is not much that can not be achieved.

We actually use all those other tools that I selected simultaneously with Microsoft 365 because of different customers we work with who utilize different sharing/collaborative tools. I think all are equally comparable but Microsoft 365, especially Word, provides the traditional and standard way to create documents and upload to controlled documentation. For communication, Slack has a more understandable user interface and user experience whereas Teams sometimes feels too rigid and "professional". It doesn't seem as friendly to navigate about. However, Teams integration with all the office tools is unmatched.

Microsoft 365 is in almost all cases the best option for office solutions in a professional environment. If there is a budget for software like this, I would generally recommend Microsoft Office. However, where your requirements for features are basic, you might enjoy free software instead. Microsoft 365 is a clear frontrunner for Excel and Outlook, and many users will enjoy OneNote as well particularly for its integration with the rest of the suite. If you are an Excel power user or need heavy usage of spreadsheets, it would be hard to look past Microsoft 365.

Microsoft 360 felt more professional and had fewer bugs than Google. The storage function felt more secure. We also needed to utilize Microsoft because it was HIPPA compliant. I feel like the apps are more intuitive on 360 although, I have recently used Google as it has been a few years and some of their apps have improved, I just feel that Microsoft is better professionally and Google is better personally.

While Sheets has a lot of the functionality that Excel provides, it does not provide the same experience. For example, pivot tables and charts are much more complicated to create and manipulate in Excel. Sheets is free, though, with a Google account, but I do believe that Excel offers a much complete package even though you have to pay for it. If you don't need SQL queries to be connected to Excel, then you might do just fine with Google Sheets.

Microsoft has all the tools you need in one place, easily accessible and easy to use. The Teams app is reliable and doesn't glitch or make it hard to hear someone on a meeting like Google Meet does. Zoom has vulnerabilities making it not as reliable or me as comfortable using it.

Microsoft set the standard by creating the suite of software that's included in MS 365. The software totally ubiquitous, with everyone from entry-level employees to seasoned executives being familiar with how it all works. It's also the gold standard worldwide, which means that no matter who we're doing business with anywhere in the world, they generally don't have a problem accessing or sharing files that just work. Competitors all appear to be copying the functionality of Microsoft's software, which means they're essentially just also-ran options. With the price point being so accessible, it also doesn't make sense to choose anything else.

Microsoft 365 is the de facto office suite for professionals. It's main competitor is Google's Gsuite. In comparison, M365 offers a more robust offline solution with its iconic suite of office programs with superior integration with the Windows OS. When I first started using M365, its cloud implementation lagged behind Google, but Microsoft has invested a lot of effort to bring M365 into the modern era.

I use Microsoft 365 alongside Google Workspace. Microsoft 365, specifically Excel, is far superior to Google Sheets apart from the ease of sharing documents Google Workspace programs allow. For some clients who are less comfortable with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 is the clear and easy winner.

Open Office, on the other hand, wasn't up to the standard I need in my software products. I support open source projects and in that respect I love it, but in terms of usability and especially client side experience, it was just different enough that everyone was confused. I don't want to spend time providing tech support to my clients, in essence.

[Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)] has much more experience when it comes to handling emails, while offering a much broader portfolio of systems for collaborative work, this directly impacts the efficiency and productivity of users. In the same way, it integrates many security improvements that gmail does not have. This added to the use of [Microsoft 365] in the cloud to consolidate the licensing costs a big difference when choosing a system like this.

Compared to its competitors, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) has more functionalities, is more integrated between applications and enables a better data document management. Its predefined templates and database connection set-ups offer better user experience. There is more training material on the web and commonly used by many organizations. It is better functioning in Windows operating systems.

I've tried the Google Software Suite (online), and in certain limited situations, this can accomplish what is needed. I find it to be a much less matured software bundle aimed specifically at siphoning Microsoft 365 customers by offering a cloud-based (free) version, albeit dumbed down.
