Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
Our owner uses ADP across multiple companies and states for about 500 employees! We use it for the HR system, time & attendance, and payroll processing. Our main office is located in Latham, NY so ADP greatly assists us in processing payroll for our other locations downstate and in Vermont - particularly for the time & attendance features.
- Time and attendance is seamless.
- Payroll is easy to process. Everything is streamlined on the "Payroll Cycle" page.
- There are so many different ways to get to the same areas - This can get kind of confusing when you're looking for something in a hurry or trying to direct someone!
- We previously were able to call ADP and get someone right away who could help you. Now we have a "dedicated" account rep who I find never answers the phone and takes at least 2 days to respond to my e-mails. When you do get someone on the phone, they aren't as knowledgeable anymore and always end up having to confer with our account rep for an answer anyway. Our company does not care for this business model.
- Payroll can be done by one person so it saves the company a ton of money.
- Reduces commitment and time by eliminating the need for paper-everything!
- TimeCo
- Third party time clocks
Not all of our locations have ADP time clocks. At one of our hotels, we use a time clock maintained by TimeCo and it does not work the way we need it to with ADP, so we end up having to manually enter hours from TimeCo into pay data batches with ADP.
Kronos is far simpler than Workforce Now but has more features such as external integrations and data importing, while ADP's payroll processing features are a little more robust, along with their time management and employee engagement features. I do not have as much experience with Kronos as I do with ADP but I would say I definitely prefer ADP WFN!
