Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

We have implemented ClickUp across our organization with the exception of only a few roles. It is our primary location for interdepartmental project collaboration. ClickUp is an extremely robust platform and we take advantage of most of its extensive list of features. We have established processes for departmental and use-case-specific intake forms using the native ClickUp forms. We also rely on the various views and options for automation to streamline larger projects and processes. We even utilize Zapier integrations to work with external contractors.
  • Frequent Feature Updates
  • Automation
  • Consolidated Home View for Individuals
  • Makes it easy to break down and map out large projects
  • Improved notification inbox
  • Deeper integrations with CRMs
  • Created a centralized location for task management across departments
  • Increased autonomy for individual contributors as they are able to see what is expected of them each day
  • Empowered those in management positions to be able to oversee the work being done but allowed for a hands-off approach
There's so much peace of mind that comes from knowing that ideas and to-dos are documented and planned out. It allows you to focus on the tasks at hand. That's the difference that ClickUp has made. It's allowed for more transparency between departments and created a single mode of operation.
The biggest impact has been through establishing a process for departmental requests. Each department has its own list of request forms that allow them to collect all required information regarding a request in a standardized process. This reduces the amount of cluttered communication through messaging and email channels and documents it in a way that can easily be executed.
When I was tasked with selecting a project management app for our company, I was impressed when I came across the robust features lists comparisons of ClickUp and its competitors. To be honest, it's what sold me on using ClickUp. I was able to at a glance see feature by feature our ClickUp compared to Monday and Asana (my two other considerations) and break it down by price. Since our organization operates on the Microsoft Suite we tested using Microsoft Planner for about 6 months in a few select departments. We were not impressed. Many of our leadership also used Todoist, but it was not robust enough to handle the needs across the organization and we were really looking at moving to a single platform across the company.
