Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

Both of my reps answer my questions to the best of their abilities. I receive responses quickly.
Currently employees and myself are struggling with the use of the new website. We are still needing to switch to the old to try and find items. It seems that the new website does not have the day to day functions fully working.
We use TriNet for the following items
  1. Payroll
  2. Benefits
  3. HR Compliance
  • Has Experts in each area that are assigned to my company
  • Experts respond quickly when you have questions.
  • Experts will help out with employee questions
  • Back end changes to payroll should be seen before payroll is approved. Terminations should be visible on the Payroll preview report not after a company submits the payroll for processing.
  • Terminations should be visible on the Payroll preview report and you should see all pay changes included on the payroll preview report. This includes final payout of PTO, Severance, and any other items that will be paid out on the payroll date.
  • No changes should be made to the payroll once the payroll is approved by the Admin. If a change is needed by TriNet then the admin should be notified of the change and see the dollar amount of the change before the change is processed for the payroll.
  • The Admin for the company should be notified if an employee has benefit adjustments to help mitigate incorrect changes.
  • When the Admin does a termination it would be helpful to get a PDF copy of the full termination request that is entered by the admin. It would be helpful for the admin to be able to print this as they enter it.
  • When the Admin does a pay change it would be helpful to get a PDF copy of the pay change as it is entered by the admin. It would be helpful for the admin to be able to print this as they enter it.
  • We are a small company and we are happy that TriNet has the ability to provide benefits for our company.
  • TriNet has tools for us to use that help us stay compliant- We would like more training on tools available to help us with this.
TriNet offers benefits and HR support. We did not have this before. We need that live voice to help us.
Prior to our 9/30/2017 payroll run we have seen little or no errors. Payroll processing was very smooth. Since 9/30 we have seen several errors with Terminations, benefits, and payroll processing.

If a severance is used when terminating an employee it would be beneficial to print out the severance directions that are submitted to TriNet.
