Adobe Sign is used throughout our organization across multiple departments for electronic signature of various types of documents. End users LOVE the convenience of having the ability to quickly e-sign documents that previously routed hard copy and more often than not, were lost in transition, causing a domino effect of issues resulting in recreating documents to start the signing process all over again. This has helped with productivity, efficiencies and staff satisfaction.
  • Very easy and convenient to use.
  • End users are thrilled with functionality and ease of e-signing documents.
  • Uploading documents is quick and painless.
  • Tracking documents signature is beneficial in case it gets "hung up" with someone.
  • It would be GREAT to have the ability to go back to the first screen to include additional signers without having to cancel and start all over again.
  • The program sometimes "freezes" up after uploading a document, but not sure if that's an issue on our end or with the program.
  • I can't think of any other improvements needed - it is an awesome program!
Adobe Sign is great for obtaining electronic signatures of various types of documents. We have used it for electronic signature of nursing protocols, procedures, guidelines and policies requiring multiple departments and physicians signatures. If the document gets "hung up" on someone, it is very easy to send them a reminder to e-sign, which the end user appreciates as emails tend to get lost in the shuffle and they forget to e-sign. All of our users have expressed how pleased they are with the increased ease of e-signing documents and not having to search for documents that are lost in the piles on their desks. In three quick clicks, they can sign a document and have it done & off their to do list.

We use Adobe Sign to send contracts to customers. Our company has proprietary software to manage accounts, pricing, etc., and we have integrated Adobe Sign through its API so that we can automate the entire contract process. This allows us to populate contract fields and send the contract with the click of a button.
  • System reliability - Although there have been times when their system has gone down for a few hours, in general their 'uptime' is consistently reliable.
  • API Integration - The API is relatively easy to tie into our software, and the accompanying documentation is easy to follow.
  • Standard e-Signature Services - Covers all the basic needs for an e-signature service and does exactly what we need it to do.
  • Price - We just received an email this week saying that Adobe would be increasing its pricing 400% in a few months. While it was not the cheapest company to start with, this will make them BY FAR the most expensive for our usage bracket.
  • Customer Appreciation - We have been using Adobe Sign for 10 years, and we use Adobe to send out over 35,000 contracts per year. Yet even though we use Adobe more and more each year (and therefore pay more), over the years they have been less and less inclined to work with us as they increase their prices. They actually gave us more consideration when we were a fledgling company first looking to use their product.
  • Point of Contact - Every time we are in contact with Adobe, we talk to a different account manager. This makes it extremely difficult to know who to contact when we have issues.
Adobe Sign does what we need it to do--along the lines of just about any of the major e-Signature service providers. It covers all the basic e-Signature needs, making it easy to send and track contracts. Their audit trail even helped us uncover an instance of fraud a few years ago.

We are currently using Adobe Sign for contracts and Statements of Work across the entire organization. I personally use it multiple times a day as I am a Project Manager, using it in the capacity to review and approve Vendor Facing Statements of Work for projects on which we utilize a partner, as well as the workflow for all Change Requests. It is therefore is one of the browser tabs I keep open at all times while I am logged into my laptop.
  • The simplicity and ease of use is exceptional, especially for someone in my position where I need to get documents signed with extreme frequency.
  • The speed of the process is incredibly useful, as I am often juggling several tasks, and among several projects, at once - the efficiency allows the flow to be uninterrupted.
  • The time stamps and the way the files are distributed to all of the signers makes using the tool very effective and efficient, and ensures I am efficient.
  • I was using Adobe Sign so frequently that I found the newest interface redesign a little cumbersome, so I have been switching back to Classic View, so I am not a fan of the redesign.
  • One of the only other con's I found in using documents signed in Adobe Sign is that a couple of times when I wanted to share the completed and fully executed copy of the file, but needed to redact a sensitive section of the file - Client Facing costs - I was not able to use the redaction feature in Acrobat Pro, only realizing this after about 30 minutes of attempting to do so, and abandoned the attempt.
  • I do feel that there are too many notifications - I think it could be cut down - fr the way we use it at least - by minimum one notification email, which is the notification that the document has been fully executed, and then immediately followd by a formal, final notification with the document - I tend to only keep that one on file.
I have very often touted Adobe Sign as a savior of time and effort when contrasted with the days of working with manual signatures.

The scenarios in which it is very well suited are where you work with high volumes of documents needing signature.

I cannot identify a scenario in which it is not appropriate. I even lament that one of our customers (a financial institution) has not yet adopted an electronic signature as valid - but I still use it for our pre-signature before it is sent to them.

We have adopted Adobe Sign across our entire organization or digitize our operations and use less paper. We purchased and deployed Adobe Sign prior to Covid-19, but working remotely has really given us the opportunity to prove its true value. Before using Adobe Sign we would have to print documents, have them signed, and then scanned back in. It was a giant waste of time that Adobe Sign has helped solve by simply being able to upload the forms in Word format, create signature boxes, and then email them to the appropriate signees.
  • It is easy to use. Even my non-tech-savvy users are able to pick this up with too many issues.
  • The existing document upload feature works great. Instead of having to recreate all of our documents we are able to just upload them in many different formats and create an Adobe Sign document easily.
  • The Office 365 SharePoint integration is really slick, easy to implement from the administration side, and easy to use from the user's point of view.
  • From the administration side of things, it can be quite challenging to deploy if your users have existing Adobe accounts. It seems that the Adobe Sign system is kind of integrated with their other products, but also not. If your users have existing user accounts you will need to email Adobe Sign support to add every new user. Adobe is aware of the issue but still has not resolved it. If you are deploying to thousands of users this could be a deal breaker.
Adobe Sign is well suited for any environment that has a lot of signature requirements. Its security is top-notch, providing chain-of-custody logs for signees. Setting up the SharePoint integration was easy, as Adobe provides really nice tutorials to get it all set up. The only issues we have run into while using Adobe Sign is setting up users that already had an existing Adobe account, but that was resolved in one support ticket and their support was very responsive.

I am a contractor who did an implementation of it for another organization. This organization is using it across the entire organization, we were implementing it as part of their sales solution, embedded into existing custom software. The custom software sends documents to customers for signature and processes them within the system when the customer signs. This enables obtaining signatures from customers when they are not in the office, and allows quicker and easier processing of signatures.
  • Emails customers
  • Allows legally binding signatures
  • Webhooks back to the original application
  • End user friendly
  • Requesting signatures via text messaging requires use of a third-party SMS solution.
  • Email not being able to be the same for production accounts, and developer accounts prevented us from being able to use development accounts. It is against company policy to use external emails for work functions.
  • Customization of email templates(Html templates), requires assistance from adobe, and limits functionality.
It does a very good job of sending emails, and getting legally binding signatures. Supports multiple languages. If you wish to also send via text message, this can be accomplished if you have a third-party SMS gateway, but one might want to consider other solutions.

If you strongly wish to have a tagged, customized email sending the documents to sign, rather than a generic one, other solutions provide better options for this.

Overall, this is a good product, that was easy to integrate into our solution.

We use it in the HR department regularly to send out all documents that require signatures that come from our company. Or when other clients send in documentation that requires signatures from our consultants we create the form in Adobe Sign (formerly EchoSign) and then send it out for signature. So it clearly addresses the need to obtain signatures on important documents in a manageable and confidential manner. We have recently joined forces with a larger company and I see that this works well across all platforms.
  • Love the confidentiality of the documents
  • Ease of creating a document requiring signature
  • Ability to retrieve archived documents - love the HIDE feature and being able to go back and retrieve if necessary
  • First thing that comes to mind is the classic view vs the other view - don't have it open right now so I can't remember the name. Both have points I like and some that are not as favorable
  • Not sure how to categorize this but when creating a document and you make an error, oftentimes I am unable to go back and correct and need to start all over
  • Or - along with the previous point - when sending out a document and say it has an incorrect address on it - again, we have to cancel the first document and create an entirely new one. Unless I am missing any editing options after it has been sent out - would be nice to have that option.
Seems Adobe Sign is well suited for all businesses - especially during these times with working from home is becoming more of the norm. I suppose a Toy Store or coffee shop would not have a strong need for Adobe Sign - but I could be mistaken. It is simply an easy, helpful tool to manage business documents and communications in a protected manner.

We're utilizing Adobe Sign across the whole organization. It streamlines the signature collection activity for the organization and puts all documents in one platform for reference.
  • Notification process is good.
  • Ability to add additional people to agreements even if they are not to sign the agreement based on role.
  • Cost.
  • Adding new users to the system.
It's worked well for us across all departments - and while it does take a short training session to become familiar with, typically no additional training is needed after that. It is simple to use and a time saver for us. We would purchase again if we had to go through the selection process again.

Our organization is a community clinic and we signed up for Adobe Sign to help us implement telehealth services during the pandemic. Adobe Sign was easy to set up in a hurry and intuitive to use. We were able to set up and begin using Adobe Sign in a day. We also utilize Adobe Sign for all staff members who are working from home, it is so helpful to electronically sign documents no matter where you are.
  • Easy to set up templates.
  • Intuitive to use.
  • Allow for more than signature one and two on templates.

With the pandemic happening and the shift to working remotely, it is necessary to have all employment offers and other documents signed electronically by all respective parties as we cannot meet in person to complete this task anymore. In addition, some documents are required to be signed and submitted ahead of being onsite as a condition of offer, so time is of the essence and electronic submission with convenience is necessary in this step. This program is being utilized across the hospital with not only HR, but our Legal team and also our Research area as well.
  • Ability to apply rules for each and every field.
  • Ability to format each field according to desired value.
  • Upload is fast and easy.
  • Compatibility with other programs like DocuSign for simplified users.
  • Mobile App version of this so staff can sign documents on their phone.
  • Well suited for sending offers letters and related document requiring signature for new hires other employment changes
  • Well suited for sending staff letters of benefits and pension changes
  • Less appropriate for secured pdf files from third parties that family members are required to fill out (e.g. life insurance beneficiaries)

Adobe Sign is used by us and our partners to manage and request signatures from our clients. It helps users manage signed documents more easily.
  • Streamlined process from requesting signature to final sign; cuts out on the need to manage, as once final signature has been signed, all parties receive a copy
  • Able to add reminders and password protect as you request
  • More customizability on the admin portal side
  • Unable to add users with personal email domains in portal without needing to add DNS record to "own" them
For some users, takes more getting used to than competitor applications.

The entire org uses the system. It allows us to quickly authorize agreements (internal & external), which has been essential particularly thru the pandemic.
  • Ease of use & pace
  • Simplicity to add the signatory lines & participants.
  • Gentle reminders are so nice.
  • Grouping of signatory items is sometimes not intuitive.
  • Need to have easier ways to delete/edit draft agreements.
  • Choice between encrypted & non-encrypted PDF pull-downs.

Adobe Sign is used across the organization. The adoption of Adobe has been significant in the last year due to the pandemic and with people working from home; it has addressed challenges with getting signed documents in a timely manner and ensuring some level of tracking was in place. It has also streamlined the onboarding of new staff by delivering packages prior to their start dates and have them completed before they walk in on their first day.
  • The technology is solid and reliable.
  • Their technical support has been outstanding. They respond promptly and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • No recommendations at this time.

Our organization uses Adobe Sign in order to fill out forms when requesting to use the auditorium, gymnasium, or other areas of the school and school field trips. We have opened it to all staff and not just one department. Before Adobe Sign, we would have a Word document that would get lost, altered, or completely missed when submitted.
  • Being able to import PDFs
  • Keeps everything organized
  • Google calendar reminders
  • Google email authentication to sign in
  • Adobe Sign helped us with organizing separate facilities requests into one
  • Eliminated double booking, which was a huge issue previously
  • Streamlined the process of using our facilities for internal and external users and made it easier to process once requests have been received
  • Holds people accountable by not allowing them to manipulate data at a later date

We use it across the whole organization to sign contracts and other documents in need of a signature.
  • Adding my signature is VERY user friendly. The buttons to edit the document are clear and leave no room for confusion.
  • I love that when I click the "Sign" button my signature appears so I can drag it easily to the signature block on the document.
  • I was unable to keep previous documents I signed when we transitioned to a transaction based account. I don't feel that a ticket being opened is a user friendly approach to any transition. Our archived documents should have just been transferred over seamlessly.
  • There are times when I'm not able to add a signature to a PDF file. I opened a ticket with Adobe, but eventually gave up when the issue couldn't be solved. It hasn't happened since then, but because I am an authorized signatory within my team, I certainly don't want to hold up adding my signature when functionality fails.

SMT hires employees across the US and into Canada. We use Adobe Sign to send the employment agreements and independent contracts along with our PIA to about 150 people per year. Once the agreement is signed, we send out all new hire paperwork. Our legal department and contracts department also utilize Adobe Sign. We would not survive without it.

SMT acquired a company out of California, and this company utilized express mail to send out these mentioned agreements and and express mailed the agreements back to the office. The cost savings for adding Adobe Sign has been HUGE!
  • The library of documents
  • Shared Libraries among users
  • Easy set up of forms to be filled and signed.
  • Documents only stay in the system for 30 days
  • Having issues setting up other account users
  • Removing old items in the library.
  • Wish we could have admin type users - they don't make changes but just send out docs for signature
Adobe Sign is very appropriate for our legal team for sending out client contracts for signature. Our legal department also has several templates that would be great in Adobe sign. In addition, we have a contracts manager at another division that would benefit from Adobe Sign.

We currently use Adobe Sign for all of our major forms including Field Trips, Facility Requests, and Course Approval Forms. The staff members are asked to go to a website on our page at which point we they choose the applicable form. We built out our forms in Word, transitioned them to PDF, and dropped in the fields needed. The forms stayed familiar so users didn't revolt.
  • Ability to use PDF imports.
  • Form Workflow Capabilities.
  • Delegated Signatures.
  • Google SSO.
  • Automatic Reminders.
  • Office Note Space - Internal to ORG.
One scenario is the organization of our Facility Request form. We identified all parties that are involved in signing out a room. Once we did that, all we needed to do was identify data on the form to completed by specific parties. Once that was done, we now had a request entry and timeline system. Staff members with specific roles were held accountable for not entering data into systems so that events could run. We were finally on auto-pilot and no forms were lost.

Adobe Sign was on-boarded to execute contracts with vendors. It was used exclusively by two departments for this purpose for fours years. Due to COVID-19, we have expanded use to other departments (HR, Sales, Client Engagement, Provider Support, etc.) to electronically sign their agreements or attestations.
  • Adobe Sign is pretty intuitive. I was trained only on the minimal basics, but through use I've discovered additional features and ways to better utilize [it] for our purposes. We've since expanded to other departments in the organization and were able to easily find solutions to their needs. The user guides are clear and immensely helpful.
  • It is easy to set up groups and users as an admin and customize to their needs. Adobe Sign allows for easy self-service.
  • Automatic sizing is good when ensuring the text does not cut off, but I typically change to a set size or adjust the box so some field won't end up being comically large. I would like the ability to set a default size for all fields while allowing auto size to make it smaller if the text is too long.
  • Maintain the files names when executing multiple documents rather than part 1, part 2, etc. This would save time renaming and other recipient confusion after-the-fact.
  • Allow Digital Signatures on each document when sending multiples. Our Providers can only accept digital signatures (electronic does not suffice). The group needs to send multiple one page documents as a package to be signed. Because of this limit they are not able to utilize Adobe Sign.
Adobe Sign is excellent for executing contracts, templates, and standardized documents. It is less appropriate when you have complex forms that need to have fields customized that cannot be set up as a reusable templates due to pre-completed information.

Creating Practice Agreements for Physician Assistants that included adding in license/certification/DEA numbers (private information), that required signatures from the Supervising Physicians/Department Chiefs and the Physician Assistant. It eliminated the need to try to run around trying to collect wet signatures from the various people, which was inefficient and resource/time heavy. Adobe Sign allowed us to create a template and the individualize for each PA easily.
  • Streamline process from creation to delivery.
  • Emails to alert you to where things are in the process (Sent to ….Signed by...).
  • Easier access.
  • Reminders to the sender when it's been a certain period of time and the signatures haven't been obtained.

Adobe Sign is being used with prospective adoptive families so that they can efficiently and easily sign our agency agreements and other documents. Adoption is bureaucratic and time-consuming enough - we like to make anything easier that we can. It has simplified our application process enormously and removed the constraints of mailing documents back and forth. While this was helpful before, it has been invaluable in times of COVID when office access is limited. As time passes, I had more and more documents to our portal and each decision has added speed, convenience, and efficiency to our process.
  • In general, it is very user friendly. The interface is clear and navigate.
  • It's very easy to upload new documents and then pick the ones needed for each client.
  • I like the ability to have templates for messages, but customize as needed before each is sent. This makes it very efficient on our end.
  • It would be great if it were easier and faster to create longer forms with more input boxes. I know that isn't the primary focus, but it would let us integrate more.
Right now, it is less well suited if you need the client or recipient to complete a number of form fields. A little of that works well, but it can easily get cumbersome. For simple agreements with a few fields, and signatures, it works wonders! Very easy for clients to sign, submit, and save a copy for themselves. For us, it also works very easily - we often have clients who are couples. It is first sent to one and then the second. That system works well and is clear. But, if the couples shares a dedicated email for their adoption process, we just enter the same email twice and it easily resends to that once one recipient has signed. That works well as long as we explain what to expect.

Adobe Sign was implemented for electronic signatures to improve the time and effort it takes to execute many different documents. Some require just the signatures of those internal to our organization while others require both internal and external signatures. When multiple signatures are required on a document, if the email addresses of all signers are included in the initial request, Adobe Sign will email the document to the first signer and then once signed, will automatically email it to the next signer; and so on until all signatures are complete. All those copied on the initial request are notified as the document moves through the process and receive a copy of the fully executed document once it’s complete. This automation significantly reduces the manual intervention required in obtaining documents signatures and expedites the process. No more printing, signing in person, scanning or emailing documents back and forth. And the signers do not need to have an Adobe license in order to be able to sign. It is tremendous automation that has greatly improved our document signature process. I highly recommend Adobe Sign.
  • Moves the document through the process automatically
  • Reduces administrative burden
  • Reduces the elapsed time that it formerly took to have documents fully executed
  • The cc box should be similar to the signer box so you can select users, contacts
  • You should be able to go back to the email to add another signer or cc without losing the process on the document
  • It would be helpful if there was a way to include a cc for only the fully executed document rather than receiving all the emails as the doc moves through the process
Adobe Sign is extremely well suited for documents that require multiple signatures. I can't think of a scenario where it is less appropriate.

This is being used across the whole organization. It is a way for us to have signatures done electronically instead of by hand. This speeds up the process so there is no delay and papers don't go missing. It is especially helpful now especially with the majority of people working remotely. Even before Covid, many people do not work on-site so it made it convenient to have people sign electronically instead of having to be present in-person.
  • When there are multiple pages that a signer needs to sign, the issuer doesn't have to put the sign and date field on each page. All you have to do is put it on the first page and there is an option to "repeat on all pages," this is an awesome feature as it saves the issuer so much time.
  • Having the ability to CC another person is wonderful especially when it comes to important/confidential information, you don't have to forward the completed signed document as the person CC'd will automatically receive a copy.
  • The fact that you can add multiple signers to one document is one of the best features.
  • You can easily replace a signer if you have the wrong email address, you don't have to start over and initiate the document again, it is easy to fix.
  • It would be great if there is a way to combine documents into one file. Once documents are uploaded now, they all come back as a single document, but having an all in one file would be better.
  • If there is a way to automatically have the date set to the day that the signer signs so that they don't have to manually click on the date then that would also be helpful, it is one less click for the signer. Many are VPss and CEOs and anything that can be done to reduce their time (even one extra step) would save them time.
It is very user friendly and easy to navigate. This works particularly well when you need a signature quickly and if someone can't meet in person. This would not work for those needing an actual signature by hand.

We use Adobe Sign across the entire company to send contracts to prospects and customers. Prior to using Adobe Sign, we printed contracts, mailed them to others to sign, and waited for them to be returned to us before we could set up new services. This speeds up the entire process to get signatures on our contracts.
  • Easy to use
  • Easy to see where the contact is in process
  • Easy to store and access signed contracts
Great to get signatures on documents. Some use cases are contract signings, proposal agreements, incentive agreements, policy acceptance, audit sign-offs, and more. It is less appropriate if someone doesn't need an actual signature; rather, just an electronic approval of some information. Sometimes people think they always need a signature because they always have in the past.

Since our company deals in purchase agreements as well as renewals, our Sales team and our Customer Support team use it quite often. We use Adobe Sign on the regular. It's super easy to implement and use. Even when we bring on a new hire or contractor, Adobe Sign is right there to sign the paperwork. As an Admin, I have on occasion had to reach out to the Customer Service for support. I have been blown away by how helpful and knowledgeable their team is.
  • From an Admin side, easy to manage the users.
  • From a user side, easy to navigate
  • I've had one user experience issues after they had signed up for a trial, then attempt to use their company profile. Both were tied to the same email. Adobe Sign didn't recognize the licensed product.
As a company [that] deals in Sales, it's perfect for having new customers navigate to sign agreements. Same goes with our new hires when we add contractors on for the NDA and work rules agreements. It's super easy to manage and use.
